I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember and have dedicated my career to caring for them. I’m currently working as a Veterinary Care Assistant and am training to become a Veterinary Nurse, giving me valuable hands-on experience with animals of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Before working in practice, I spent several years in boarding kennels caring for both dogs and cats, ensuring they were happy, comfortable, exercised, and well looked after while their owners were away. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters, supporting the care and rehabilitation of rescue animals. Alongside small animals, I have extensive experience with horses and farm animals. I’ve owned my own horse and worked on equestrian yards, caring for horses as well as a variety of livestock. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust when it comes to loved animals. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and compassionate, and I’ll always treat your pets as if they were my own and you can be confident they’ll be in safe, experienced hands.

Schedule
I work full time as a Veterinary Care Assistant, so my availability varies depending on my shift patterns. I plan pet care around my work schedule and do my best to be flexible where possible, including walks, pet sitting, and house boarding. I own my own car, which allows me to travel easily and be reliable for visits and bookings. I’m always happy to work with owners to find times that suit us both and ensure pets receive consistent, loving care.

I follow any specific instructions closely to ensure each pet’s normal routine is maintained, including feeding, exercise, medication, and preferred care styles. With my background as a Veterinary Care Assistant, I am confident handling pets with a wide range of needs and temperaments, including nervous, elderly, and medical cases. I always take a calm, patient approach and allow pets to settle at their own pace. In a pet owner’s home, I treat the space with respect and ensure everything is left clean, secure, and as I found it. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress environment where pets feel secure and owners feel completely at ease.
