Vet Tech of 5 Years 🐾

I’ve been a vet tech since 2021 and am currently continuing my education through the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program. I currently work 2 days per week at an emergency/specialty hospital in Austin. I’m very comfortable caring for pets of all ages and needs, including seniors, anxious pets, and those requiring medications or a little extra support. I’ve worked with a wide variety of animals throughout my life, including cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, and fish. I’m Fear Free certified and trained in low-stress handling, and I always prioritize making pets feel safe, calm, and comfortable in my care. I’m also RECOVER CPR certified, which means I’m trained in pet CPR and emergency life support. Whether your pet needs medications, extra patience, or just a calm and caring presence, they’ll be in capable hands with me!

House Sitting • Aug 02, 2026

We are so grateful to have found Lilly! She went above and beyond taking care of our sweet girl, Penny, and our home. Our dog is slow to warm-up to new people, and Lilly was patient and let Penny come to her. She sent regular updates and communicated well. We will definitely use Lilly again in the future when we need help! She even washed and cleaned the sheets and left a sweet note. Anyone looking for a pet and home sitter would be lucky to have her.

Lilly was great! She completed everything we asked her to do and we were really pleased with the quality of care our dogs received. We will definitely re-book with Lilly.

Lilly has been pet sitting for me for years. I have three dogs one of which is a Great Dane and two cats and she has been so reliable with giving me updates and checking on them multiple times a day. She even helped me after my cat was neutered and gave him the best care. I highly recommend her and know she is the only person I trust to watch my animals when I’m gone! 10/10 recommend and love that she has years of vet tech experience too. She is kind, trustworthy, and very knowledgeable.

I know Lilly really well. Lilly has taken the best care of my dogs. She has even taken my smaller dog, "Brisket" to the vet's office for me. I would trust her with any animal, and she is a very trustworthy person. I highly recommend her!

Lilly is an absolute gem, warm, dependable, and genuinely loves caring for animals. She cared for my dog while I was out of town, sending regular photo updates and following every feeding and medication instruction exactly. Lilly treats pets like family, keeps the house tidy, and communicates clearly and promptly. I have personally seen her rescue a bird, 2 dogs, and cat during my time knowing her. I trust her completely to provide safe, loving care and excellent customer service, any pet parent would be lucky to have her.

Schedule

I have mostly open availability for drop-in visits, house sitting, and night boarding at my own home (reserved only for feline friends). My schedule includes mornings, evenings, and weekends. Pet care is already a huge part of my daily life, so fitting in visits and maintaining consistent routines for your pets comes naturally to me. I do my best to be flexible and will always communicate clearly about availability to make sure your pet receives reliable and consistent care!

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In your home, I aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while providing attentive, low-stress care. I’m trained to monitor for any signs of illness or discomfort and can confidently administer medications, including oral, topical, and injectable treatments if needed. If boarding in my home, I live in a spacious two-story house with a large, fenced backyard. I also have a secure catio for supervised outdoor time for kitties who enjoy it. I always introduce pets slowly and thoughtfully to ensure they feel safe and comfortable in a new environment.

Pets

A typical day

Every pet is different, so I like to tailor visits to their personality, comfort level, and routine! Depending on the pet, that might include walks, playtime, enrichment activities, cuddles, medication administration, feeding routines, or simply keeping them company and helping them feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. For cats especially, I focus on creating a calm, low-stress environment and letting them interact at their own pace. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable, cared for, and as close to their normal routine as possible.

I’d love to know about your pet’s normal routine, personality, and any special care needs ahead of time so I can make their experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Please let me know about: • medications or medical conditions • feeding schedules, diets, or allergies • behavior concerns or anxieties • how they do with new people • any routines, preferences, or quirks that help them feel comfortable The more I know ahead of time, the better I can tailor my care to your pet’s individual needs. A meet-and-greet prior to bookings is also preferred.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
