I take pet-sitting seriously and treat every animal as I would want to have my own treated. I know that being left with strangers can be stressful for a dog so I take lots of time to soothe and calm those anxieties. By the time a dog leaves my care, they are an old friend. This is my full-time business so your pets have an in-home caregiver with only brief times away to shop or look in on pets who are relaxing in their own homes. My pet-sitting experience includes not only dogs and cats but horses and parrots. I have even cared for a chinchilla! I have also owned many rescue cats and have fostered puppies on behalf of the humane society. I am also able to administer Insulin to a diabetic cat and medications to even the most difficult pets. I have a large fenced property so my dogs and the dogs in my care have a safe place to exercise and socialize every day. I am on a 1.35 acre lot that is quite private so the dogs in my care can relax and just be dogs. And I have an F-150 pick-up with extended cab to transport even the largest dog comfortably. I am an animal lover who has adopted and/or cared for many animals over the years. I have two rescue dogs who have turned out to be incredibly loving gentle companions. I care for dogs and cats as well as birds and rabbits. Your home or mine. I am happy to provide references upon request and take my responsibilities seriously. I like to set up a no obligation meet and greet before any animal is entrusted to my care so that the pet and their owners can feel comfortable with my services. About this sitter: When I am in someone's home caring for their pet I am very careful and treat the home as I would want my home to be treated. I bring in papers and mail, take out trash, water the plants and note if anything seems out of order. In short, I use common sense. I am a homeowner myself. Although I have extensive experience with dogs and cats, I have cared for unusual pets and even barnyard animals. I am loving and unafraid and will care for your almost any animal. Pets feel comfortable with me and I have the ability to make them feel comfortable almost immediately. Although I have fixed prices on my listing, final pricing and travel distances are negotiable based on the services needed. I have a pickup truck with an extended cab so I can take pick-up or drop off your dog or take them to the spa or vet. I currently own two rescued dogs who both came to me neglected and abused. About my yard My yard is large enough for a large dog to run at full speed. It is privacy fenced and cleared.
