FOR IN-HOME SITTING: I will provide all of the care necessary for your pet, as dictated by your requirements (I prefer to have these on paper in writing). Dogs will receive frequent yard time and walks as requested. Cats will have their litter scooped twice per day or as requested by the client. All other species of pet - requirements for care in writing are required. Grooming services can be provided with a fee. I am also able to take care of chores around the home such as ensuring that hired workers have access to the property, taking out garbage/recycling on trash day, caring for plants, etc. Unless otherwise stated, I will be staying in your home overnight so that your pet has someone monitoring them. For my own privacy, I do not do in-home sitting in homes that have video recording devices in bed or bath rooms (unless removed prior to stay). Cameras are fine in common areas. FOR BOARDING: I offer safe, secure, and comfortable boarding options for felines. I only board one client/household at a time in order to ensure minimal stress and maximum comfort for your cat(s). Boarding services will be customized entirely to meet the needs of your cat(s). In my home, I have a large, secure three-tier cat cage that I keep away from my own personal cats. This cage is outfitted with a litter box, food & water, cat beds, and your choice of toy options - it is larger and far more customizable than any traditional boarding option. Boarding clients will be in the cage when I am gone during the day, and they have the option of free-roaming in my front room when I am at home. Your cat(s) will always be apart from and never have contact with my own personal cats.

Information Lillian M. would like to know about your pet

Any special care instructions? Does your pet need medications, and if so, how often and in what form (pill, capsule, liquid, injection, etc)? Will your pet need a grooming service while in my care, such as daily brushing, a nail trim, or a bath? Does your pet have allergies? Does your pet have any aggression, fear, anxiety, or reactivity issues? How frequently does your dog need to be let out? Please keep in mind that I work full-time Monday through Friday. If your dog cannot handle being left home from 7am to 3pm, please find another sitter. I am capable of administering medication in all forms, performing grooming/hygiene services, and monitoring STABLE & MANAGED health conditions. While I am highly skilled in animal husbandry, there are 2 types of clients that I am not comfortable caring for with any type of service: 1. Highly fractious pets. If your pet has a tendency to bite or scratch (or otherwise act aggressive) in reaction to basic handling or the presence of a stranger, I would recommend boarding at a trusted veterinary clinic where they have the equipment to handle highly fractious pets. 2. Pets in perilous health. If your pet has a health condition that is not stable, regardless of medical management, I cannot in good faith take them on as a client. Your pet's health & safety is paramount, and while I am perfectly capable of monitoring & managing STABLE health conditions, it would be best for any pets in perilous health to board at a trusted veterinary clinic where they will have the ability to immediately & effectively respond to any drastic change in health status. If you do not have a yard for your dog - OR if you want your dog to go on walks - a properly-fitted martingale collar or harness is required. I do NOT walk dogs on flat collars. Flat collars are easy for dogs to escape out of, and that is not a liability that I want to deal with. Retractable leashes (also known as "flexi leashes") are only accepted for dogs 30 pounds & under, and you MUST have a regular leash as a backup. I also do NOT walk dogs with zero training or leash manners, or dogs that are escape/flight risks due to reactivity or anxiety/fear, or dogs that are aggressive or reactive towards humans, other dogs, or other animals. If any of these behavioral situations applies to your dog(s), please seek the help of a sitter who is equipped for that. Collars, harnesses, and leashes must be in good working condition and free from damage or major wear-and-tear. I also cannot care for pets with contagious conditions or parasites - this includes (but is not limited to) fleas, ticks, mites, worms, mange, ringworm, parvovirus, feline leukemia (FeLV), panleukopenia, feline coronavirus (FCoV) or feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), toxoplasmosis, Bordetella, etc. I work hard to keep my home contagion & parasite-free, so I expect the same of my clients. CERTAIN conditions - such as feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) - which are not zoonotic & do not pose a high risk of contagion, may be acceptable. Please inquire. By booking with me, you are confirming that your pets do not currently show signs of parasites or contagious conditions, and you are obligated to let me know if your pets are exposed to and/or begin to show signs of parasites or contagion before the booked services begin.

A typical day

FOR IN-HOME SITTING: Pets will be provided with toys, treats, and other enrichment as outlined in the care instructions provided by the client. For pet safety, I do not provide my own treats or toys unless clients express in writing that this is permitted. All pets will be played with or otherwise given species-appropriate interaction on a daily basis. FOR BOARDING: I have various cat furniture and toys that allow cats to express natural, healthy behaviors such as running, climbing, jumping, and scratching. Choice of toys includes catnip, silvervine, wands/teasers, tunnels, puzzles, plush, lasers, balls/ball tracks, scratchers, furry/feathery, and motion-activated interactive toys. Cats will be provided with new toys daily to prevent boredom.

Sometimes I work brief shifts on weekends, usually once per month. Be sure to also read the "information Lillian would like to know about your pet" section in full to understand what types of pets I can or cannot work with. Thank you! **Boarding is currently not offered - I ONLY board cats - I no longer board dogs or any other animals, and any boarding requests for non-felines will be rejected. In-home sitting is available for dogs, cats, and all other species. Thank you for understanding!** Hello! My name is Lillian. I have 7+ years of continuous experience in industries such as ER/ICU veterinary medicine, domestic & exotic animal care, daycare, and boarding. I am also a professional cat & dog groomer. My skills include creating personalized care plans for boarding & in-home pet sitting clients, administering medication, providing grooming options, and so much more than you will find in a traditional boarding setting. I own and exhibit cats in TICA & CFA conformation shows - I own breed, regional, and international winners. I previously exhibited dogs in AKC & UKC. I am an expert in feline husbandry. My personal cats are exceptionally well cared for and provided with the best nutrition, enrichment, and loving interaction that I can offer. You can relax knowing that when your cats are served by me, they will be treated as one of my own and offered all of the same luxuries that my fancy show cats receive. I only board one client/household at a time to ensure that your cats will feel comfortable in my home. My personal cats will never have contact with my boarding clients. I do in-home pet sitting and drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and all other species of pets. My laboratory animal husbandry experience allows me to adapt to uncommon & exotic species. No matter if your pet is furry, feathery, scaly, or slimy, I can assist with their care. Please contact me today in order to reserve your pet's in-home pet sitting, or your cat's boarding space within my home. I am happy to go over the details with you on what amenities your pet will receive, the services that I am able to provide, and how my skills & expertise set me apart from the competition.

Lillian was fantastic! My dogs were so happy while I was gone. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I have complicated instructions, and Lillian was able to decipher them flawlessly. I will be using her in the future. Highly recommend this sitter!
