Dog loving, wfh, pet sitter w. dog
I have had dogs all throughout my life, our current dog, Rascal completes our family. She’s a labradoodle x springer, and is not fussed about other dogs, and loves human attention, but is always happy to share us with other well mannered dogs. Rascal was a rescue from a home with 7 dogs who were unable to care for her properly, so she is comfortable in a large pack. I work from home so am happy to host your dog with us. I have a large garden which is easily accessible all day, and live right next to a big park with woods for good daily walks. I am happy to be quite flexible and can pick up / drop off for a fee too if you need.

Schedule
I work from home most of the time and am largely able to mould my schedule around your needs, I don’t leave Rascal on her own so your dog would always be with me.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large, fully fenced back garden where the dogs can play, and a walled in front garden meaning it’s a very secure environment. Our local area has loads of parks and woods, we are generally not comfortable walking dogs we don’t know off lead as I don’t want to risk something going wrong, however if your dog gets to know and trust me well, knows the local area well, and you’re confident in their recall I may consider it. Rascal is a combination of two working dog breeds so we play lots of scent and seeking games for mental stimulation.

A typical day
Rascal and I kick the day off with a bit of time in the garden, have some play time at 11 with a cuppa, then a walk at lunchtime usually followed by a snooze, ending the day with either a walk, scent games or some fetch in the garden.

- My dog is very chilled with other dogs, largely ignores them but is still friendly. Let me know if your dog has any resource guarding issues, or issues with female dogs. I’d like to know how you usually walk them, any quirks they have etc.
