Availability
I am currently in the Air National Guard, where I serve only the first weekend of each month. Outside of that, my schedule is very flexible, which allows me to dedicate time to caring for animals. I typically work at a veterinary hospital on Mondays and Fridays from 8am – 5pm.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, I take my dog on regular walks around the neighborhood and to the local park. When I’m caring for a client’s dog, I adjust based on their home and routine. If the home doesn’t have a fenced yard, I take the dog on extra walks to give them exercise and help burn off energy. If there is a fenced yard, I always supervise either outside with them or by watching closely from inside to ensure they stay safe and complete their potty break. For families who crate their dogs while away, I make an effort to stay longer during visits so their pet has more time out of the crate for play, attention, and comfort.

Information Lillian E. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your animal has any special needs or if you have any concerns. I am happy to address them and work around it with you.
A typical day
I tailor activities to each pet based on their age, energy level, and personality. For older or more relaxed pups, that usually means the basics feeding, bathroom breaks, cuddle time, and the occasional walk or car ride. Some dogs are happiest just enjoying love and attention. For younger or more active pups, I like to go on walks, work on tricks, and practice good leash manners. In the summertime, I've even made homemade treats or enrichment toys to keep them entertained and cool. With your permission, I can also take pups to the park or along for car rides. I'm happy to do as much or as little as you'd like it's completely up to you. No matter what, your pup will always get plenty of care, love, and attention.

A soon to be vet who loves animals
Pet care experience
I have been around dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, and my love for animals has only grown with time. I started pet sitting in high school for families in my community, where I cared for pets with a wide range of needs. Some required simple daily care and companionship, while others needed specialized attention such as insulin injections or other medications. Today, I am working as a Veterinary Assistant at Curtis Road Animal Hospital, where I gain hands on experience helping care for animals in a clinical setting. I recently earned my Masters in Veterinary Science at the University of Illinois. I will soon be apply for vet school for next year. What sets me apart from other sitters is my combination of practical experience and academic background in animal care. I am comfortable administering medications, handling animals safely, and providing both routine and specialized care. Most importantly, I treat every pet with the same compassion and attention as I would my own.

Amazing!

Lillian came in and babysat my dog while my sitter had to leave for the weekend. She was highly adaptable and did great even though I wasn’t able to introduce her to my dog myself.

Lillian did an amazing job! It was great knowing that my fur babies were loved and well taken care of while we were away. Will definitely be looking for her again on our next trip!

Lillian was great with our Cooper as an older dog and a little anxiety they got along great and she took great care of him for the 5 days we were gone.
