I’m a pet lover and owner since I was 3 years old and my first pet was a cat. After that, by the age of 5, I had my first dog. As my first dog came into my hands, I knew that I would never live without a dog again. During my whole life I had the opportunity to live among Terriers, British bulldogs, Spaniels, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, many Labradors, and cats. Being a pet owner since I was a child shaped my character. Pets taught me about unconditional love, loyalty, respect and responsibility. I’m living in UK since 2019, but I also lived in Portugal for many years. During these relocations I always carried my loved pet companions with me. Currently, I have two dogs, Filipa and Marina, they are Labradors, and they live with me and my husband in Reading. I believe interaction with pets is the most important thing to make them feel relaxed. To me, it is important to consider the style, age, and special needs of each pet, e.g.: young dogs and cats prefer to play and exercise, while senior dogs prefer calm and relaxing walking. I also consider the owners’ preferences and, as a dog owner, I know that when a pet is being trained is important for the pet sitter to respect the training process as the owner recommends. It is important to be informed about the pet’s health. Please, let me know your pet’s feeding routine, medications, behaviour and preferences. I am currently unemployed and I am available on weekdays and weekends with previous consultation. I have to walk my own dogs every day of the week I always check for possible threats to the pet's safety and health. I am very careful with the surroundings where the pets live and play.
