Hi, my name is Lila, I’m 26, I have two goofy dogs, and I live in the Broadripple area, and always looking to make new furry friends! I grew up obsessed with all things dog, every year for Halloween, I was in a dog costume, every single birthday party was dog themed, and I never grew out of my love for dogs. I have had abundant experience with just about anything dog related. One of my childhood dogs had grande mal seizures, so I took classes from a young age to help support her needs, and to protect myself when working with compromised dogs. As sweet as that dog was, her medication, as well as seizures made her behavior unpredictable and occasionally aggressive. I am comfortable and confident working with dogs of all affectations, through this experience. I’ve cared for aging dogs that need help getting outside, as well as very young puppies! I’ve spent years in training classes, and am always learning more about how to be the best person for my doggies. I am an introvert and take some time getting comfortable around people, so I tend to get along uniquely well with nervous dogs. I think we share similar brain chemistry. I’m patient, and will meet them where they are. I deeply enjoy quality time with dogs, be that walking, training, brushing, playing, napping, you name it. I’m very invested in my friendships and care. I am routine oriented, and detail oriented (if you can’t tell by my very long monologue here), and I do not take the weight and responsibility of caring for someone’s pet lightly. I take a lot of pictures, send a lot of updates, and will ask questions without hesitation to assure everyone is comfortable and safe in my hands.
