Safety, trust & environment

For Boarding - Pets will either be in the guest room or guest bathroom depending on your preference. I only accept one client at a time, there is no interaction with other animals including my own for everyone’s safety. This is not a pet hotel, this is a home away from home and a safe place for your pets to stay while your away. You’re cat is treated like my family and I will do my best to make them as comfortable and happy in my home while you’re gone. I require meet and greets with the pet present for all boarding requests. This is to make the transition smoother as cats can become anxious and stressed in a new environment, this gives them that opportunity to meet me on their terms and can often make them more comfortable. Refusal of an in person meet and greet for boarding will result in an automatic denial. For Check ins - I will follow your guidelines.

Information Lila G. would like to know about your pet

Any preexisting conditions, special diet, or medications the cat is taking and if they are shy or aggressive. Please make sure to provide any medications your cat may need during their stay. For boarding - Cats are very particular and change can scare them. It’s better for them when they recognize items. Please bring food, treats (optional), litter, litter box, a favorite/comfort toy, and a blanket that smells like you. These will make your cat feel a bit more safe and comfortable as they are things they recognize. I am able to provide pet stairs for boarding in the case of senior and/or low mobility cats.

A typical day

Each day is curated towards your pets needs and could be filled with play time, cuddles, or who knows there could even be some people watching.

Pet care experience

*I can only accept cats While I was a cat foster I specialized in shy cats with the occasional preexisting condition including blind, deaf, weak limbs, cancer, and senior cats. I am familiar with providing several different oral and topical medications and am able to alter my home for any accommodations your pet may need. In addition to this I volunteered at a cat shelter and a wildlife center caring for wildfowl and otters.. Lila was able to accommodate me during an emergency and is very responsive and helpful. She’s great with my ragdoll and he loves the stay with her.

Lila took care of our cat for 7 days, and we couldn't have been happier with her stay. Lila gave us updates and shared pictures of our cat proactively everyday, provided a cat-friendly room for our kitty and we could tell our cat was really cared for. Would definitely board with Lila again!

Lila was great at taking care of ours fur babies Jeanne and Dante. She was able to play with them before feeding and clean the litter when needed. She was also able to help around the house when needed. Most important is that my cats were fine and happy.

This was my first time using Rover and Lila made it so easy and comfortable for my cat! We talked ahead of time and I like that she asked to see the vaccine certs. My cat was very well taken care of at Lila’s!
