I work full-time, but only four days a week and my role is hybrid so I am working away from home 2 days a week. On my days at home, your pet will have plenty of company and a calm, relaxed environment. Mornings usually start with a walk as I'm so lucky to live right near the beach and some great parks, so there's always somewhere new to sniff and explore! After that it's cosy downtime at home while I work, with plenty of opportunities for cuddles, play, or just napping nearby. I'm generally home five days a week, so your pet will never be left alone for long.

I follow each owner's routine and instructions closely: feeding schedules, medication, lead rules, and any behavioural quirks are all noted and respected. I believe consistency is key to keeping pets calm, especially in a new environment and with new people. :) When we're out, dogs are always kept on lead unless the owner has explicitly confirmed they have a reliable recall in a suitable off-lead area. I am especially conscious of this as I do live by the beach. I stick to safe, well-known routes and always carry water and waste bags. In an owner's home, I treat the space with care and make sure everything is left exactly as found. I'll always reach out to the owner promptly if anything unexpected comes up. I'd rather over-communicate than leave someone worrying about their pet! Expect regular pictures and updates!

A typical day
Beach walks and park adventures are a big part of the routine. There's so much to explore in the local area and so many pets and families in the community! I love letting pets set the pace, whether that's a big romp or a leisurely sniff around. Back home, I'm happy to play, practise tricks, or just keep them company on the sofa. As a non-smoker with a quiet home, it's a relaxed and comfortable space for pets to feel right at home.

Hey! My name is Erin and I've taken care of pets both big and small since I was a child. I live on my own by the beach and only work from an office 2 days a week, meaning I can offer you and your pet the flexibility needed, be readily available and offer a cosy and safe stay. :) I've taken care of my pal's cat overnight during their travels, and I've housesat and helped in the training for my sister's dogs, including overnight care, walks, and feeds, and puppy training.

Our 1 year old Jack Russell had a great time staying with Erin for the weekend - she was really good with keeping us up to date with what they’d been up to and lots of photos throughout his stay and he enjoyed lots of walks and play at her home. I’d definitely recommend Erin!
Erin took a great care of my little anxious dog, really happy with her boarding service and would definitely use again!
