To me, our pets are like family. They deserve to have the best care available since they are dependent on us to provide for them. I enjoy spending time with animals and will follow their routines so they feel comfortable and safe. I am a detail-oriented person — I will make sure your pets are cared for according to your directions, with a lot of cuddles sprinkled in (if they are snugglers).

I try to follow the routines of the pet parents, so the pets have some consistency while their family is away. That's also why I prefer to stay in the home, so they are in a place they already know and feel comfortable with. I feed at the designated times and am vigilant about potty breaks or cleaning litter boxes, taking walks or whatever else the pet does in the course of a typical day. I don't give table food or snacks to pets, and I will handle any type of emergency per your instructions. I love to take pictures and videos of your pets throughout the day and will send them to you, so you know your babies are doing great. I don't mind running errands or collecting the mail and other small tasks that may be needed while you are away.

Lici took care of my black toy poodle for several nights while I was in the hospital. She was loving and caring. He doesn’t like being away from me and was a little sad. Lici was so kind as to hold him in her lap and type with only one hand while she worked so he wouldn’t be lonely. She responsibly fed, watered and gave him his meds. Lici had two dogs of her own for many years and is definitely a responsible, confident, confirmed dog lover.
Lici has taken care of my dogs (and spoiled them) for about 10 years. When she is caring for them, I can travel without worrying about their medicines, safety, or well-being. One special perk with Lici is that she's a great photographer and sends me pics of my pets daily, if not several times a day! She also has cooked them special holiday meals with chicken and rice (with my permission, of course) - even though she's a vegetarian! I trust her to stay in my house for extended periods of time when necessary. I highly recommend her to take care of (and love) your fur babies. ***** Five stars!

Schedule
I am a freelance writer, semi-retired, so I have a lot of time on my hands to devote to animals in my care. I enjoy playing fetch or tug-of-war or providing whatever other stimulation your pet needs. For those who prefer to be alone or sleep all day, I'll respect their space and keep watch from a distance.
