Hi! I’m a medical student and lifelong animal lover who’s had pets my entire life. Caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Growing up, I was the kid rescuing stray cats and kittens and bringing them to the humane society. I’ve also helped care for and train sled dogs and their puppies, and I have experience with special-needs pets, including a dog who was both blind and deaf. I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique personality and needs, whether they’re energetic, shy, young, or senior. I’m an active person who loves walks, playtime, and making sure pets get the attention and exercise they need. My medical school schedule is a little unconventional, but it gives me flexibility that works well for pet care. I treat every pet like they’re my own and will always keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages. I’d love to meet you and your furry family!

Libby took care of our three cats, Tiki, Puma, and Miyushi, for 17 visits over two and a half weeks, and she was excellent. One of our cats, Puma, tends to get bullied at mealtime, and Libby made sure she got to eat in peace every single visit. That kind of attention to detail says everything about her. She sent daily updates and pictures, which genuinely made it possible for us to travel without worrying about anything back home. She also brought in mail that had been left at our door and left the place tidy for our return. We came back to three happy, healthy cats. We will absolutely book her again and recommend her to anyone.

Schedule
My schedule varies from week to week since I’m currently on clinical rotations in medical school. My availability depends on my rotation schedule, but I’m often flexible outside of my required clinical hours. On days that I’m available, I’m typically home for much of the day, which means plenty of potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship. Feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to let you know if I’m available!

Every pet is different, so I tailor my care to their personality, energy level, and normal routine. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their schedule as consistent as possible. For dogs, that means plenty of exercise, playtime, potty breaks, and supervision. I genuinely enjoy walking and hiking, and if your dog enjoys it too, I’m happy to take them on runs upon request. My apartment complex also has a fenced-in dog park with a friendly dog community for pups who enjoy socializing. For cats, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. Whether your cat wants hours of cuddles and playtime or simply prefers a quiet companion who respects their space, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. My goal is to provide the type of care that best fits your pet’s individual personality and needs

A typical day
I love keeping pets active and engaged! For dogs, that usually means neighborhood walks, nature walks on local trails, games of fetch, enrichment activities, or just spending quality time together. If your dog enjoys exploring and you’re comfortable with it, I’m also happy to visit local dog parks or pet-friendly ponds for a fun outing. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with wand toys, laser pointers, puzzle toys, or simply hanging out for cuddle time if they’re the affectionate type. Whether your pet is high-energy or prefers a slower pace, I’ll make sure they have fun while feeling safe and comfortable.
