Lover of all animals!
I have had pets in my house since I was born. Ever since I was little I would rescue stray cats and kittens around my neighborhood and bring them to the humane society. Over the years I’ve helped my neighbor train/take care of his sled dogs and puppies. I have worked with special needs animals as I used to have a dog who was blind and deaf. I’m a very active person with strange but mostly flexible availability due to medical school. Let me know if you have any questions!

Schedule
As for my schedule, it varies pretty drastically day-to-day and week to week due to medical school, but I’m flexible if I don’t have any required in-person meetings/classes (only a few per week). On days where I’m available, I typically go for a walk/run with my dog and am home the majority of the day for plenty of potty breaks and walks.

Safety, trust & environment
At my home, I will treat your pet as if they are my own while still maintaining and respecting the schedule they are used to. This means plenty of exercise (if that’s what they need) and supervision. My apartment complex has a fenced in dog park with a pleasant dog community.

A typical day
I enjoy walking dogs around my neighborhood in West Des Moines or bring them on a nature walk. I also know of a few dog parks and ponds to bring dogs if the owner is comfortable!
