Hello there! My name is Lianne and I am a huge animal lover who grew up in a dog loving family and have had a dog since the day I was born. I have tons of experience with animals, dogs in particular, and currently live in my own urban zoo with 2 dogs, 2 cats, 6 chickens, 10 tropical fish, and a million plants. I am a skilled dog handler, having 2 or more dogs in my own pack for the last 20 years. I own a truck with a camper shell for getting your dogs safely out to the park or for a hike, and am happy to come to your place to check in our your precious fur babies. My property is completely enclosed, with a front yard and backyard fence. I also have a dog washing station in my garage. My husband and I both work from home, so we are here all day to keep your pups company. We love animals, and are known amongst our friends as the go-to dog sitters because we just like having dogs around. Due to the pandemic, my work hours were cut considerably, so I figured I would sign up for Rover to do what I love and help supplement my income. I can't wait to meet you and your furry friends! I am working part-time from home since the pandemic, so I have plenty of time and space to entertain your pups. I will take drop-offs as early as 7 am and pick-ups as late as 10 pm. While under my care, I get the dogs out for a 30 minute pack walk at least once a day. For dogs that need more exercise, I will walk as often as requested by the owner. My property is completely enclosed. I have a 4' tall fence with a gate in our front yard, and an 8' tall fence in our backyard. While staying with me, my doggy guests will spend their time with me wherever I am on my property. This often includes cooking in the kitchen, lounging on the couch, or playing fetch in the yard. When I leave the house, I crate all my guests to ensure the dogs safety. I have boarding space in our very large garage where multiple large crates can be accommodated, but often have our overnight doggy guests sleep in our bedroom with us, in their own bed or crate. I have one very ornery cat who is afraid of dogs he doesn't know, and I go to great lengths to keep him safe and comfortable, as well as our furry guests, by keeping him separated from our visitors, and/or supervised at all times. For me, it is most important that my animals (two dogs, a cat, and 6 chickens) are comfortable with guests, so I require a meet & greet with all new dogs at my home before committing to any booking. This way, I can observe the interaction between our animals in advance to make sure everyone is ok with each other, and to let my client's get a sense of where they are leaving their fur babies. I hope to provide a doggy Disneyland experience for all my furry guests! I currently work from home 4 days a week, and go into the office on Tuesdays. But my husband works from home on Tuesday and is able to take on the dog watching duty in my absence. Wherever I am on my property (or on yours), your pet is with me or my husband, and I have two dogs of my own to round out the pack and keep your pup company. If I need to leave your dog in my house for any reason, I take great care to crate the animals or leave them in separate rooms for safety reasons. While here, we do all we can to keep your dogs happy and comfortable, including extra attention for nervous newcomers, or picky eaters. All dogs are fed separately to prevent resource guarding behavior, and they get multiple potty breaks a day in our back yard, where they can run out there wiggles as well.
