Growing up, we always had a dog in the household. To me a pet (whether it is a dog or a cat), is actually a family member. We give them so much love, as they provide us with so much unconditional love eternally. Whenever I have watched over dogs for someone, I like to meet the pup where they are at for the day. In meeting and seeing the dog, I try to assess: are they feeling high or low energy today? If it is a dog I have known for awhile, I ask myself, are they acting within their norm, or should I take them to the Vet (or alert their owner?)
