I'm currently a graduate student at UW Seattle, and have a very flexible schedule this fall. I have a few classes throughout the week but I'm able to dedicate lots of time during the day to your fur baby. My weekends are pretty relaxed as well and I make a point of putting a pets needs first if I'm on the job!

I have a pet-friendly apartment and lots of communal yard space for your pup to play. I live near the Burke-Gilman Trail, so walks are easily accessible. Cats love my place as well (at least my cat does). It's situated in a quiet location with numerous windows for them to look out.

Please let me know if your pet needs any kind of medication or has less-than-ideal habits we should work on (e.g., leash aggression, serial chewer, dumpster diver, sensitive stomach). I'm comfortable with training to reinforce good behaviors for both the owners and sitters alike!
A typical day
I like to go for a morning run or walk, usually a few miles, but I can go longer or shorter depending on your pup's needs! I try to stay active throughout the day, so breaks for playtime and to go potty are frequent.

Pet care experience
I've been caring for animals since I was young, both professionally and personally. I grew up with cats and dogs, fostered a litter of puppies, volunteered at a cat shelter, worked at a doggy day care, and then transitioned to a veterinary technician assistant. This has given me great experience with pets of all different temperaments. I can recognize distress/warning signs from cats and dogs, but also know when they are happy and ready to play. I'm comfortable around spicy cats, anxious dogs, and everything in between. I've never met a pet I couldn't care for!
