Dog-loving grad student
Growing up, my family always had at least 2 dogs at a time, and I've always helped with walking, feeding, bathing, training, and (of course!) play time. I've seen every stage from rambunctious puppy to docile senior, and I love them all! In my pups' later years, I've also helped deal with several ailments like eye infections (eye drops and cleaning out mucus buildup), diabetes (2x daily insulin injections), anemia (daily oral pills) and blindness (lots of patience :) ).

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog's safety and happiness are my top priority! I will work with each client to determine things like what/when your dog eats or gets treats, which playtime or exercise activities make them happiest, and any guidelines on where I can/should take them. I will always be mindful of any known triggers (such as diet sensitivities or a dog's fear of specific breeds/size of other dogs), and keep an eye on the dog's disposition during our time together to make sure (s)he is happy, safe, and feeling well. I am also happy to adhere to any training regiments, routines, etc. that you're using with your pup, so that (s)he gets consistent feedback no matter who's around. Of course, I will also respect any part of your home and/or items that are entrusted to my care in the process!

Schedule
As a full-time graduate student, my schedule can vary a lot from week to week. However, with a bit of advance planning and effective communication, this flexibility allows me accommodate arrangements that might be tough within a more rigid work schedule. If you've got something in mind, feel free to reach out, and we'll see if we can make it work! Once we set something in the calendar, you can count on me to be there!
