I’ve cared for my family dog, who has three legs, for seven years, giving me firsthand experience supporting a dog with unique mobility needs. After moving away from home to pursue higher education, I welcomed a puppy of my own. These experiences have taught me how to care for dogs of different ages, abilities, and routines, from energetic puppies who need patience and consistency to adult dogs who may require extra attentiveness and support. Neighbors have trusted me to feed and check in on their dogs and cats while they’re away. As a future healthcare professional, I’m responsible, highly attentive to detail, and committed to treating every pet with the same care and affection I give my own.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. On walks, I’ll make sure their leash/harness is secure, stay attentive around traffic and other animals, and be mindful of the weather and hot pavement. I’ll follow their usual route and pace so each walk feels safe, familiar, and enjoyable for them. During drop-in visits, I’ll enter your home thoughtfully, double-check that doors and gates are secure, and follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I’ll take the time to help them feel comfortable, whether that means playing and giving lots of affection or simply sitting nearby and allowing them to approach me when they’re ready. I’ll treat your pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own, and I’ll send you photos and updates so you can feel reassured while you’re away.

Lian is someone I trust completely with my pets. I’ve asked her to drop in several times to check on my cats while I was away, and she took such great care of them! She properly refilled their food and water, helped them exercise through lots of play, regularly cleaned their litter box, and communicated with me about any unusual behavior. Lian is very detail-oriented and dependable, and she treats every pet with the same love and patience she gives her own dogs. I would confidently recommend her for any drop-in visits and dog walks!

Schedule
As a full-time student, I’m typically in class Monday through Thursday mornings, so I’m available for walks and drop-in visits most afternoons and evenings. I have open availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, as well as from noon into the evening on Thursdays. I don’t have any work obligations, which gives me the flexibility to schedule pet care around my classes. If I have an exam or school event, I won’t accept visits during that time, so you can feel confident that your pet will always receive my full attention and care. Walks and drop-ins are also a wonderful, refreshing break from studying that I genuinely look forward to!
