We have used Liam several times for both boarding and daytime care for our two Australian Shepherds, and we couldn’t be happier! He always does a fantastic job — our dogs come home happy and tired in the best way. He sends pictures throughout the day to keep us updated, which gives us such peace of mind. It’s clear he genuinely loves and cares for the dogs in his care. We will absolutely continue booking with Liam and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring dog sitter!

Schedule

I work from home full-time so your dog will have consistent supervision and company throughout the day. They’ll have regular garden breaks, playtime, rest periods, and walks depending on their energy levels and routine. I limit the number of dogs I take at one time so I can give each dog proper attention.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog will stay in a calm, secure home with a private garden for regular breaks. I have separate areas so dogs can be safely separated if needed (introductions, feeding, or rest). I introduce dogs gradually and prioritise temperament and compatibility, and I’ll follow your routine closely for feeding, walks, training preferences, and any medical needs. My resident dog, Bram, is friendly and sociable, so this setup suits dogs who are comfortable around another dog. Happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand.

A typical day

Bram and any visiting dogs start the day with a morning walk to Kilburn Grange Park — we take our time, let them sniff properly and have a good run around before heading home for breakfast. Throughout the day there are regular toilet breaks out in the grassy backyard, so dogs are never waiting long between outings. Midday usually means a walk towards the Heath, which gives dogs a chance to explore a bit further afield and burn off some energy in a bigger open space. Evenings depend on the day — if it’s a late pickup after work and the sun is still out, we’ll head up to the Heath for a big off-lead run with Bram and any guests. If the light is fading we’ll make sure to get to Kilburn Grange before it closes at sunset so nobody misses out on outdoor time. Any dog staying with us gets the same routine, attention and affection as Bram — plenty of outdoor time across some of the best green spaces in the area, regular backyard breaks throughout the day, good food, and a genuinely home-from-home experience rather than a kennel environment.

The most important thing to know ahead of a stay is how your dog gets on with other dogs. Bram is a friendly and easy-going companion, and most dogs settle in with him quickly. That said, if your dog needs their own space we have plenty of room in the flat to keep them comfortable without being around Bram the whole time — so don’t worry if they’re not the most social. If your dog has a history of aggression towards other dogs, we’d likely not be the right fit, and it’s worth being upfront about this so we can make the best call together. Beyond that, it’s helpful to know about feeding routines and any dietary needs, medications or health conditions, and any anxieties around separation, loud noises or new environments. If recall is still a work in progress, just let us know and we’ll keep them on lead for the bigger open spaces like the Heath.
