Raised by dogs
I've grown up with (large!) dogs, and love spending time with my four-legged friends. I was raised with dogs and have a life long love for them. I have a playful approach whilst maintaining boundaries. I have also have experience dog sitting for a range of dogs with different challenges. My wife will also be providing assistance and care.

Liam and Amelia have been very accommodating and understanding of Luna’s anxiety and nervousness around new people. She appeared to settle in with them very quickly and seemed very happy in their company when we arrived to pick her up.
Amazing. First time that I am using Rover and the first time we are leaving pooch with someone we don't know. We were a bit anxious because she sometimes pulls on the lead, and also because she is not a fan of other dogs. However, Liam and his wife were really reassuring during the meet & greet and I am pleased to say that her 4 days boarding went perfectly fine. I'm super happy and will book with Liam again. Thank you for taking good care of Zucca.
Liam has, over many years, walked our 2 large dogs and helped care for them. He shows suitable control over them when walking in public areas and does not allow them to upset others, particularly aware that some people are afraid of dogs so he must keep them under close control when near children and vulnerable adults. He is very aware of the importance of boundaries and routines; for example, when feeding 2 dogs together, lead control and not getting them too excited. The dogs love him.

Schedule
I currently work a couple of days a week from home, with a flexible schedule allowing me to dog sit during the week, depending on commitments I can adjust the days I'm available. I can also do weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I do live in a flat, with plenty of space for a dog to sprawl out and relax, but don't have any private outdoor space. I am right next to a green square for emergency walkies and am 5 min away from the Thames path, with numerous green areas and parks in easy walking distance. Your dog will be kept close company at all times to ensure they're relaxed and comfortable.
A typical day
I'll focus on keeping your dog stimulated and well exercised, knowing how important this is for all breeds/ages, but paying attention to the specific condition of your dog. I've looked after puppies all the way up to seniors. Upon arrival I'll give them gentle attention and I'll play with them on their schedule to ensure they're comfortable with the new space, then take them for walks along the Thames Path and to local parks that are great for dogs. Depending on the situation / length of stay (and your preferences) I may also drive out into Kent to do some longer walks!
