Information Lia D. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has any Special needs or behaviors that I need to be aware of! I’m willing to work out something for any dog as long as there is no unprovoked human bite history for my own safety. Please warn me if your dog has ANY aggressive tendencies around toys, food, or anything else. This past year I’ve gained experience in administering not only pet but also human insulin. ***All pets are required to be up to date on core vaccines PRIOR to my first visit and continue to stay up to date if my services are continuously needed for the safety of my pets and other clients pets***
A typical day
I believe mental stimulation in very important for both dogs and cats. I love teaching dogs new tricks or simply working on developing the tricks they already know. Please let me know if any tricks y’all might be developing or any bad behaviors you would like me to make sure I’m not promoting while you’re away. Cats need metal stimulation just as much as dogs do. Toys are my favorite way to challenge pets minds in the home.

Pet care experience
Hello! I’m a student at PSC finishing my A.A. Degree and I was in the Veterinarian Technology program. I’m also currently working mornings with a dog rescue💕. I am fear free certified and have been pet sitting for two years this March! I’ve been around all kinds of dogs, cats, chickens, Guinea pigs, bunnies, and large farm animals my whole life. I have 4 years of experience grooming and learning about medical care for animals at my High School’s Veterinary Assistant Academy. During that time I also volunteered at an Animal Clinic and volunteered to care for special needs cats with a local cat rescue. I got hands on experience of administering medications at the rescue’s cat care facilities. I have also refreshed my experience over the past couple months through PSC’s vet tech program. During the past couple of years I have also gained experience in working with reactive dogs through my own dogs. I strongly believe in positive reinforcement training; I always strive to make your furr babies feel as comfortable as they can by ensuring my visits are filled with as much positivity as possible. With one of my passions being animal behavior, I love working with pets that take a bit longer to warm up. My goal with each visit is to not only give your pet the exceptional care that they deserve but also prevent an increase in stress levels. I love all animals dearly and hope to dedicate the rest of my life to animal welfare. My goal is to one day raise the standard of care for pet sitters across all platforms to give pets the care they deserve.

Reviews

Lia is always wonderful! Very attentive to pet needs and directions and is very professional! Will continue to use he!

Always amazing:)

Lia is always amazingly professional, friendly, and has clear and concise communication regarding my pets wellbeing. She made sure my Sierra cat received plenty of attention during her drop in visits while we were out of town, and provided multiple photo updates during each visit. I will always recommend Lia for anyone that needs their pets checked on and looked after.

I was so relieved when Lia came for the meet and greet and Callie, my VERY cautious and skittish cat, took right to her and even laid down at her feet! Animals KNOW and Callie was telling me to pick her. She even vacuumed the carpet before we got home. Lia is sweet and respectable. She’s my go to girl now for whenever we have to leave town.
