I've loved animals since I was a child and have always naturally gravitated towards spending time with cats and dogs. I'm reliable, calm and comfortable around animals of all temperaments. I've recently started working from home, which can be quite solitary, so this feels like a great opportunity to combine my love of animals with getting outdoors more and spending time caring for pets. I'm responsible, attentive and genuinely enjoy the companionship and routine that animals bring.

I prioritise creating a calm, safe and comfortable environment for pets, tailored to their individual needs and routines. In my home, I have a secure fenced garden area which provides a safe outdoor space for supervised exercise and fresh air. I also have an unoccupied upstairs room which can be used as a quiet, separate space if a pet needs somewhere calm to rest. If caring for pets in an owner's home, I would follow their established routines closely to ensure consistency and minimise stress for the animal. This would incude feeding schedules, walks, playtime and any specific instructions around behaviour, medication or comfort routines. In both settings, I focus on building trust, keeping pets comfortable, and maintaining a consistent routine so they feel secure and well cared for while their owners are away.

I couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! He took amazing care of our two cats and our fish while we were away. He was incredibly friendly, responsive, and kept us updated with regular messages and lots of lovely photos, which gave us real peace of mind. It was clear that our pets were well looked after and happy, and we returned home to find everything in perfect order. I can’t recommend Leyton highly enough. He’s reliable, friendly, and clearly has a natural way with dogs. My dog warmed to him immediately, which says a lot! Leyton kept me updated throughout and made the whole experience stress-free. It gave me real peace of mind knowing my pet was in safe hands, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again.
Leyton looked after my dog as if he were his own. From the start, communication was fantastic - I got regular updates, photos, and could tell my dog was genuinely relaxed and happy in his care. Over the past 5 years I have relied upon Leyton to take care of my 13yr old cat, Gizmo and my 8yr old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Fudge whilst I have been on holiday. Leyton acts as the caregiver for my pets while I am away, feeding them, taking Fudge for walks and add hoc tasks that come up with my pets while I am away. Leyton is reliable, responsible and has gone above and beyond in ensuring that my pets are well looked after in my absence. He has sent me photos and kept me up to date which allows me to enjoy my time away from my pets and puts my mind at ease. I would highly recommend Leyton as a caregiver for animals due to his caring nature, my pets feel very at ease in his company as do I in leaving them in his care.
Leyton has known and loved my two dogs over the past 10 years. He is loving, trustworthy and has a remarkable empathy with all animals.

Schedule
As I work from home, I have a flexible daily routine which makes it easy for me to incorporate pet care throughout the day. I'm already used to taking regular breaks from screen time, so walks, visits, or check-ins with pets would fit naturally into my schedule. My work setup means I'm able to provide consistent attention and keep pets company during the day, rather than being away for long hours. Pet care fits very comfortably alongside my lifestyle and adds something active and positive to my week.
