I have several years of hands-on experience working with animals in both professional and personal settings. I previously worked as a Veterinary Assistant at the Washington State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, where I cared for animals in a clinical environment. My responsibilities included monitoring pets, recognizing signs of stress or illness, maintaining clean and safe spaces, handling daily animal care, and ensuring a sanitary environment for each pets stay. Outside of my professional experience, I’ve cared for pets for friends, family, and colleagues. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I have a genuine passion for animals and love them so much. I can’t wait to walk your dogs and/or drop in to spend time with your cat or dog. I treat every pet like my own and prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness while you’re away.

Lexi walked my dogs weekly for about 6 weeks and did an excellent job! She had great communication and went above and beyond, especially with my senior dog who is 14 and sometimes had to be carried home from the park. Lexy was amazing! Our kitties LOVED her. Even our shy boy warmed right up to her. Lexy was a pro at providing meds and all care necessary to our kitties. I would recommend Lexy to anyone who has kitties that love some affection and or have any medical needs. She’s the best!

Schedule
I currently have a very open and flexible schedule, which allows me to focus on pet care full-time and be available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize keeping pets safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding, walks, and any specific needs. During walks, I use secure leashing and stay aware of our surroundings to avoid unsafe situations. In your home, I’m respectful, clean, and make sure doors and gates are always secure. I provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
Pets
A typical day
For dogs, I focus on safe, enjoyable walks tailored to their energy level—whether that’s a relaxed stroll or a more active walk. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and time to explore. For cats, I follow their routine and let them set the pace. I’m happy to play, give attention, or simply keep them company—whether that means interactive play, pets, or just sitting nearby until they warm up. I always make time for affection, enrichment, and making sure each pet feels comfortable, engaged, and cared for.
