Hello, I recently moved to Winston-Salem after finishing my Master’s in Plant Sciences at The University of Tennessee. I have a special place in my heart for dogs. I have had at least one dog in my house since I was a baby. My family had a Pomeranian for 15 years. We were able to rescue and care for a beagle until the end of last year. Back at home in the Bristol, my family currently has a 16 year old hound mix. My sister has a three legged dog that I fostered at the beginning of 2020. I have fostered with animal shelters for a few years in college, and I have gained so much experience working with dogs with behavioral and medical needs. I am more than happy to treat your pet as my own and treat it with the best care I am able to when I am needed!

Ensuring the well-being of both pets and their home is a top priority for me. I approach home care with the utmost respect, treating each space as if it were my own. I will diligently follow any specific instructions provided by the pet owners, such as feeding schedules, medication administration, and any other routine tasks. Maintaining a clean and tidy environment is essential, and I am committed to regular cleaning, including pet-related areas and any messes that may occur. Security is paramount, and I will conscientiously secure doors, windows, and any other access points to guarantee the safety of both the home and its occupants. Communication is key, and I will provide regular updates to pet owners, ensuring peace of mind during their time away. Overall, I strive to create a comfortable, secure, and loving atmosphere for both pets and their cherished home.

Lexie was great! She was really accommodating for a late-night potty break and followed all the directions perfectly. I appreciated her reliability and care with my two fur babies. Communication was above & beyond. I would definitely book again!

Lexie was so great with Brinkley. She spent a lot of time with her and gave her lots of attention. She was really accommodating with the specifics of walking her and even took her to Brinkleys favorite park! The cherry on top was that she brought a package inside for us, talk about going above and beyond. I would highly recommend using Lexie to care for you pups. Brinkley can’t wait to walk with Lexie again 🐶
Lexie has fostered numerous special needs dogs. Two that had to have a leg amputated. She has a huge heart for dogs and such a unique love for animals in general. She has found dogs on the side of the road and brings them home. I know this because I’m her mom. I’ve seen her cry when they find a caring home and get adopted out. We’ve adopted several because our family gets attached to them. She makes regular visits to animal shelters just to visit and love on homeless dogs.
