Pet care experience
Post-grad with puppy fever 🐾🐕🦺
I’ve been obsessed with animals my whole life! I took care of my family’s dog, a schnauzer/poodle mix, until she passed and took care of my brother’s bengal cat for 5 years while he was in medical school. I have a few years experience in home dog and cat sitting as well as dog walking/running for active doggos! I want a dog of my own but need to wait a few years before I have enough time and resources to support them, so in the meantime let me help support your furry friends!
Qualifications
Ratings and reviews
Lexie was super friendly and flexible, and our pup was very happy to get to spend the evening with her!

Lexie was so great with Miles. She was on time and friendly and communicative. She is such a natural with dogs. She calmed my dog who has separation anxiety. Highly recommend her.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I currently live in an apartment and am available to board dogs here. I don’t have an open space for pups to run around but I am near a trail for walks. I am also available for dog walking/running, dog and cat sitting and simply checking in to give doggos food or a potty break whenever necessary!
A typical day
I am an avid runner in the area, so I’m very familiar with paths to suit active/senior dogs on their activity needs. I also love finding new ways to provide enrichment for dogs that need a bit more stimulation than regular play and walks provide and am constantly saving all the ideas I see online.

- Please let me know if your pup has any special accommodations. My preference is for social dogs that are well behaved on a leash and passing by people/other animals on walks. I do have experience with reactive dogs, however I am not comfortable accepting dogs with a biting history as clients. Having lived with a roommate’s pup with quite an extensive biting history, I am not yet confident in my skills to break up a dog fight or get a biting dog off of someone, and your pet would be better served with someone who is fully confident in those skills.
