I have left a career of almost 2 decades to take some time for myself and explore other professional opportunities. My current daily and weekly routine involves walks and swimming trips with my own 3 dogs as well as lots of snuggles at home with them and my 2 cats. I have lots of extra love leftover to include your pet and others at home that can care for my own pets while I’m caring for yours.

My own 3 four-legged friends love to play with other dogs and would keep your dog company and help guide them on walks. We like to diversify our walks in Missoula, dog parks, Lolo, Florence, Stevensville, and up Hwy 12. If you have a specific request (or an area you don’t want your dog walking) please don’t be shy to ask and I’ll accommodate those needs. If I come to your home for house/pet sitting I would ask you leave detailed instructions of your pet's normal routines so I can match them as closely as possible to alleviate additional anxiety.

Ein typischer Tag
I love to engage the physical and mental needs of pets throughout the day (and even within one activity if possible). Introducing them to new places, friends, and smells on walks can be just as exhilarating as running wide open through a field. A new food maze, cat toy, or treat adds to the fun. If your dog loves to run - I prefer having them off leash to explore smells within eye-sight, frolic with friends, and use speed to release energy. If you prefer leashes I will ensure they are still engaged and getting exercise.

I've owned dogs and cats since before I could walk. I have trained puppies and adult dogs. In addition, a bearded dragon, hamsters, guinea pigs, an iguana, sugar gliders, and even an abandoned baby squirrel for a while have all had places in my home. I enjoy being around ALL animals whether they are yours or mine. All 5 of my pets are rescues, including one that was a foster fail. I am comfortable administering medications and unusual feeding routines - whatever your pet needs to maintain routine while you are away! I also offer photos of each visit, snuggle, and/or walk not only as a communication tool for regular updates, but also so you can see your pet getting loved until your return.

Lexie was amazing!! Very nice and flexible. I had to fly home and my partner was on-call for his job. Lexie was available when my partner had to leave, stayed in touch, sent great pictures and silly jokes! No complaints from me :) 10/10 recommend!
Lexie was awesome! Our dog was well cared for, great communication, and we received lots of photos.
Lexie took excellent care of my two dogs and cat. She administered oral medications, cleaned up after multiple messes the dogs made, and respected my home. I would absolutely book Lexie again!
Having Lexie check in on our kitty while we were away provided such peace of mind. Lexie is dependable, showing for the drop in appointments consistently and timely. She asked questions and provided a high level of care for our kitty who needs medicine placed in her food. I appreciated her thoughtfulness. I definitely recommend Lexie. This was our first time using Rover and we found the experience easy.
