Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover since birth, in my lifetime my family and I have owned a few breeds of dogs, including Dalmatian, Black Lab, Collie, Dachshund, and 2 pugs. At 10, neighbors started asking me to watch their pets during the summer time, and by 17 I was volunteering at the local Humane Society. My Senior Project was based off of that volunteer time, where I encouraged people to adopt and donate what they could to such causes. My experience administering medication In pill form, or through food and or water, yes.

Alexa is great! she's dog sat for us twice now and Hank (our lab) loves her! We've just used her for in-home dog sitting, not an overnight (our dog has separation anxiety); she is very sweet, takes great care of the dogs and everyone's been happy when we get home!
Alexa was an amazing pet sitter! Our original pet sitter (not from Rover) cancelled on us at the last minute and Alexa saved the day! She came and checked on our three dogs and two guinea pigs twice a day and was the perfect caregiver while we were away. One of our dogs got an infected sore on his chin right before we left and she gave him the medicine he needed to get better while we were away. She also sent me picture updates when I asked for them and would always respond quickly when I texted her to check in. She even started to bring in our mail when we realized a few days into our trip that we didn't have anyone doing it. I would highly recommend Alexa to watch your pets. We will definitely be using her again in the future.
Alexa took care of my dog while I was out of town for the weekend. It was such a relief knowing someone I trusted was taking care of him. I was able to enjoy my weekend away with 0 stress. And my dog LOVES her.
My husband and I are close with Alexa and would highly reccomend her as a dog watcher, walker, or anything else dog related. She has watched our Pekingese mix on multiple accounts, one of which was for almost a full week. She goes above and beyond the duties asked because of her genuine love for dogs and attention to detail and schedules. Schedule
I am home all day everyday except for occasional appointments. I would be a good fit for a low energy dog that just needs to be kept company and let out regularly during the day. I am unable to provide walks due to being on crutches currently, but I do have a friendly dog for your baby to play with, as well as a large fenced yard.

I have a large fenced yard. Fencing is secure and 6ft tall, one part of the fence in 4 ft but dogs will not be left unsupervised.

A typical day
We will hang out and watch dog tv, the dogs can cuddle and sleep, have companionship or if they would like, my friendly golden retriever mix loves to play.
