I recently graduated with my BFA and am currently living in Grand Rapids with a flexible schedule until further notice ☀️ Since I have a lot more flexibility in my day-to-day routine, pet sitting is a perfect fit for me. I love being able to spend my time with animals, get outside for walks, and provide pets with the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. Whether your dog needs an active adventure, a little extra playtime, or just someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’m happy to make them a part of my daily routine!

I understand how important it is to come home to a happy, comfortable pet — and a clean space. My own dogs have a habit of getting into the trash when I’m away, so I know firsthand that unexpected messes happen. I’m more than willing to tidy up and make sure your home is left just as you’d want it.

For a first meet-and-greet, I’d focus on these 10: 1. Do they have any medical conditions, allergies, or medications? If so, what is the schedule and dosage? 2. What is their normal daily routine? (feeding times, walks, bathroom breaks, naps, bedtime) 3. How do they do with other dogs and people? (social, nervous, reactive, prefer space, etc.) 4. What are their favorite activities? (walks, fetch, cuddles, toys, swimming, relaxing) 5. Are there any fears, triggers, or behaviors I should know about? (loud noises, separation anxiety, strangers, cars, etc.) 6. What commands do they know and what training methods do you use? 7. How long are they comfortable being left alone, if at all? 8. Do they have any specific care preferences? (treats, feeding instructions, sleeping arrangements, favorite toys) 9. What should I do in case of an emergency? (vet info, emergency contact, your preferences)
A typical day
Whatever your dog loves to do, I’m happy to do right alongside them! I can take them to the nearest park for walks, playtime, exploring, or socializing with other dogs (only if that’s something they enjoy). I can also provide bath time at Chow Hound Pet Supplies, where they offer professional self-service dog bathing stations with everything needed to keep your pup clean and comfortable. At the end of the day, every dog is different — I’ll always prioritize your pet’s personality, routine, and individual needs to make sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for!
