I am a 22-year-old college graduate looking to earn money on the side while I work for Rutgers as a Lab Animal Care Technician. I have a degree in Animal Science and have been pet sitting for friends and family since high school!

Lexi has watched my guide dog in training, Hugo, multiple times. She practices excellent communication, and follows any guidelines I give her that are specific to my dog. Lexi has been a huge help; she is reliable and has consistently pulled through when I needed someone last minute. I have full confidence in her abilities to care for and provide all that is needed for a loved pup. If possible please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any odd/unusual habits I should be aware of, medications they need, their favorite places to go on walks, and/or their typical energy level.
A typical day
I am happy to hang out on the couch to keep your dog company or run around the backyard with them! However, I do not feel comfortable taking dogs to dog parks as I would not even bring my own to one (due to the unpredictability of the other dogs). I will gladly follow your pup’s favorite walking routes, play with their favorite toys with them, etc.!

I am currently available most of the day as I have not begun in-person work yet. Beginning mid-June, my availability will be primarily afternoons and weekends.
