I have worked as a foster for animal rescue organizations for years; raising many litters of pups and kittens! I am animal CPR certified, and am very interested in pet nutrition. I spend as much time as I can in the outdoors, and would be thrilled to take your dog running, hiking, or walking! I am experienced with many different animal species; and would love to board or watch your pigs, chickens, goats, lizards, etc!

Lexi took great care of our dog Pepper for 3 nights. Pepper was tired when we picked her up so she must have had a good time playing with Lexis dogs. Enjoyed the frequent picture updates as well. Lexi definitely helped us to be able to enjoy Asheville wedding without having to worry about our dog! Would book with her again.
We are super grateful for Lexi's kind care of our furry pals, kitty Marmel and doggo Buster. They were happy and healthy when we arrived back home and Lexi was great at communicating with me about her check-ins and walks. I will definitely look for Lexi the next time we leave town. :)

Schedule
I am a teacher on summer break, so I can care for your animals full-time. I would be able to go over to your house to care for your pets as often as you would prefer.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard, and live in a very safe, pet loving community. All boarded animals are treated as my own pets are; as a member of the family. They are welcome to hang out with me on the couch, spend time in the kitchen, and have free range of the house. I make sure my home environment is always extremely pet-safe; no chemicals or dangerous chewable items are ever left out. I will exercise your pet daily, and will also provide training if you would like!

A typical day
I love doing whatever I can to make the animals in my care happy! I am a very active person, and take my dogs running and hiking daily. I love to play ball with them in the back yard!
