Pets
Animals are my life:)
Pet care experience
I’ve had the joy of caring for all kinds of animals—from playful dogs to curious bearded dragons! Being around animals genuinely makes me happy. Each one has their own unique personality, and getting to know them is one of my favorite parts of pet sitting. Right now, my schedule is very flexible. On days I’m working, I can arrive as early as 6 AM and stay as late as 10 PM. When I arrive, my priority is making your pet feel safe, comfortable, and understood. I take my time letting them warm up to me, and I always make sure your home is left tidy—no mess, no stress—just a happy pet waiting for you!

Reviews

I would not work with Lexi again. I’ve never had such a bad experience with a cat-sitter. And it wasn’t just one thing, it was small things here and there that initially made me nervous (like asking if her boyfriend, her friends can come over to spend the nights occasionally), but I just let it go. Initially, Lexi was very sweet and accommodating. We also tried our best to make her stay as comfortable as we could. But that didn’t last for too long. Not only did she leave our kitten for 20 hours straight to go to a party, without updating us about the duration (she lied saying she will be gone for 6 hours), but what confused us was that she lied about her whereabouts repeatedly, (she told us she came home after the party and fed Obi but we checked all our cameras and she never even came home, let alone feeding our kitten), and only when she realised we checked the camera did she suddenly start telling us about a family emergency, all of which seemed made up because she was out partying. So all of this happened while she was celebrating her friend’s birthday the following morning, after attending her sister’s engagement party all night. Her story was that her grandmother was apparently not feeling too well and that’s why she couldn’t come home to Obi. She never bothered to inform us. We were still very sympathetic and understanding, though very confused. If your grandmother is unwell then why are you still partying? And what did that have to do with doing your work and doing the basics of feeding a living being you were hired to care for? Apart from that day as well, she was often gone for long periods of time, again stating that her grandmother is ill. We were still trying to be understanding even though we hired her for the full day and asked her not to leave Obi for more than 4 hours at a stretch, except for the one event where she said she will be back in 6 hours. Again, a lie. One morning we noticed she didn’t come out of the room at all, and only ended up feeding him because we pointed it out, and even that she tried to lie to us about. Lexi has repeatedly told us about incidents that did not add up, which may or may not have happened, I’m unsure. In short, we were ultimately so stressed and worried for our cat that we ended up asking her if she even wants to take care of our pet. And again, came a lie and in the middle of our vacation we had to look for someone else to come feed our cat. I’m just shocked at this experience and haven’t quite processed this. Luckily, we were able to find someone last minute who came in for us and take over the sitting. This was by far the most unpleasant experience. We were told by our other cat-sitter that we hired that our kitten was very anxious and stressed out because of how careless and inconsiderate Lexi’s sitting was.
