Dog groomer with love to share
Hello, my name is Alexandra or Lexi for short and I am passionate about all animals. I just moved to the Surprise area from North dakota with my fiancé. I was a Dog groomer in Spearfish South Dakota at U-Dirty Dog and I also worked part time at the Post Office. I have veterinary assistant experience so I am comfortable assisting pets in all stages of life and condition. Basic dog training, administration of medication, transportation, and pick-ups/drop-off, and grooming are just some of the services I can offer. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I currently am training to be an EMT so I am not avaliable between 7am and 5pm on Saturdays through November. I do accept repeat clients on a same day basis if I am available, but I do require a meet and greet for all new clients. Look forward to hearing from you and God bless.

I try to stick to the pets usually routine as much as possible. It can already be a stressful event with their owners leaving, so I try to provide as much normalcy as possible.
Ratings and reviews
Lexi was great with both of my dogs and she went above and beyond by stripping my guest bed after she slept in it and washed the bedding!

Lexi kept us informed on the pups every day and sent lots of pictures and updates on their shenanigans. She was very nurturing and kept them spoiled just as they are used to

Lexi is the best dog sitter. I don’t want to say how good, because I’d love to rebook her which should tell you everything you need to know 😉
Lexi was terrific!! Above and beyond what we had hoped for 😊 Our two German Shepherds and kitty cat loves her 💗

I really liked l Lexi, but even during our meet and greets she seemed disconnected to my instructions. I left written instructions and the code to my home alarm. She neglected to give my dog the correct food for the specific day. She left to to go home and feed her cats and unfortunately my water heater broke down just before the sit. She said that was no problem since she had to feed her cats anyway. But when she left she neglected to set my alarm both times. Upon returning home I discovered that she did not lock my garage door even though I supplied her with a key. The only reason I would have. She also left the back door unlocked even though instructed to lock it. Please look at the text between her and I on Rover as this will back up what I'm saying. I feel bad because my girl did like her. I could not find a specific glass and thought she had taken it. That was my bad as she had left it in my dishwasher. I didn't realize this and promptly apologized. If this is recorded on Rover this will be shown. I feel bad but these other issues are important. I was willing to over look but she seems intent on giving negative feedback and the whole picture should be understood.

Did a wonderful job! Was very nice, very professional did exactly what was needed to be done. Also very helpful at the end on giving us a refund through Rover because we arrived back early. Overall was amazing.

- In my years caring for and being around animals, I have learned that it is as much the dog's choice of who they want to be with as the humans. Not all pets are going to be a great fit for everyone. Some pets may want to stay at home on the sofa and some may want to run a marathon with you. It is our job, the pet parent and I, to determine the needs of the pet and weather or not I will be a good match. That being said, as a general rule, I do like to know about age, personality, any known background, habits, likes, dislikes, and medical history of any dog I take care of. I have found that knowing some, if not all, of this information helps me better serve the pet and the owners.
