I would like to know ahead of time if your dog is house trained. Also, it would be helpful to note any triggers or extra behavioral needs your dog may have.
A typical day
It is super important to me that your dog is both physically and mentally stimulated. Walks around my neighborhood or by Tempe Town Lake are my go to places to bring pets. If the owner is comfortable with it, air conditioned activities would include driving around, going to Home Depot, or hanging out with my friends at their apartment complex. If I work, I would take the dog out very early before I go and they would hang out with my roommates either inside or in our yard until I get home.

Pet care experience
I have cared for pets of my own and pets of friends my entire life. I also have professional experience in animal care and a biology degree. My current job is as an animal care and experience trainer at an animal shelter. I work Monday- Thursday, but I have three roommates who all love pets as well! Someone is always home, so it is very unlikely for your pet to be home alone for longer than 30 minutes. I have a two story townhouse in a pet friendly neighbor with a small fenced in yard. Many of my friends have dogs that love to meet new friends if you prefer your pet to hang out with another animal as well.

Lexi was great and took wonderful care of my seven month old puppy. She responded quickly to questions. Then she was patient getting to know him and keeping him entertained. She was accommodating and extended the stay an extra day when I had travel delays. I’ll definitely use her again.
Lexi watches my sweet Willow for me when i’m gone on trips and at work for long days and she always comes back in such a good mood. I always know she’s in good hands with Lexi!
Lexi watched Mitzi, my 8yr old Maltipoo, for several weekends. Lexi did a wonderful job making sure that Mitzi not only was fed and given water but also entertained, properly exercised, and cuddled. Lexi watched Mitzi at my house (being a great house-sitter at the same time) as well as took Mitzi into her own home and made her feel comfortable. Would recommend!
Lexi would be a great fit for Rover. Animals are her true love. She has grown up caring for her own dogs as well as others. Lexi has volunteered at animal sanctuaries and rescues. She loves playing with animals as well as just snuggling and showing them love.
