When caring for pets in my clients’ home, I always aim to keep their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I follow any specific instructions you leave—whether it’s feeding times, walk schedules, medication, or favorite toys—and I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and mood so they feel safe and loved. I make sure the space stays clean, water bowls are full, and your pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles (if they’re into that!). Respecting your home and your pet’s space is a top priority for me

It’s important for me to know anything that will help your pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy! Things like their daily routine, favorite toys or activities, any allergies, medical needs, behavior quirks, or if they’re shy or nervous around new people. I also like to know how they do around other pets, if they have any training cues you use, and anything else that makes them feel at home. The more I know, the better I can care for them just like you would!
A typical day
Spending time with pets is the best part of my day! Whether it’s taking dogs on energetic or calm walks, playing a good game of fetch, tug-of-war, or working on some simple tricks, I make sure they stay happy and active. For the kitties, I love bringing out their playful side with feather toys, laser pointers, or just giving them a cozy lap to curl up on. I adjust to each pet’s personality—whether they’re full of energy or prefer to be a little couch potato . My goal is to make sure they feel loved, entertained, and totally at ease while you’re away!

I’ve always had a natural connection with animals, especially dogs. I grew up with a pup of my own, so I know how much they mean to you—and how important it is to find someone who truly cares. I’m super patient, gentle, and laid-back, which helps dogs feel comfortable and at ease around me, whether we’re on a walk, cuddling at home, or just hanging out. I also love going on walks and outdoor adventures, and I adjust to your dog’s pace—whether they’re energetic or just want to take it slow. I’m happy caring for all ages, from playful puppies to sweet seniors who need a little extra love and care

Lexi is great with my GSD, Shae. She spent a couple hours playing with her, utilizing Shae high energy during her visits. Lexi is gentle, yet great handling, as well. I will be having her come through for future needs.

Lexi has been an invaluable asset in our family, always ready to step in to take care of our Bingo & Rolly to make sure we had the time to bring the kids on a rare day/weekend trip. Even when asking last minute, same day, Lexi always came to our help and once here into our home she lovingly took care of our beloved pugs as if they were hers, so much so that even our rescue Bingo who has experienced trauma in the past and is shy with most people, opened up to her. Regrettably, we are leaving the area, or else Lexi would have surely remained our trustworthy dog sitter. Thank you, Lexi, for taking care of Bingo & Rolly and for being so friendly and kind to us.
