Availability

I currently work full time for a property developer/estate agents, as a customer relationship advisor, which is why my availability tends to be on weekends. I currently do 4 walks a day - Morning, Lunch, Dinner and Bed. On weekends the lunch time walk tends to be a longer one however, I will do whatever your dog is used to.

Information Lewis J. would like to know about your pet

Let me know about your dogs funny routines, fears, likes, dislikes. Are they good with other dogs? Is there a particular dog breed to be cautious of?

A typical day

From my experience with my own dog, the first outing of the morning is usually just a quick toilet break, about 10 minutes around the block. After that comes breakfast, followed by some time to relax and play with toys. Around midday, we go out for the longest walk of the day. My dog stays on the lead, but this is a great chance to visit somewhere your dog can run and enjoy themselves. The goal is to explore plenty of new scents and have positive interactions with other dogs. After heading home, it’s almost time for dinner. The post-dinner walk is usually a gentle stroll, followed by a final short trip outside before bed to make sure everything is taken care of for the night.

Pet care experience

Hello, I’m Lewis. I was born in North Wales and raised in rural North Yorkshire, growing up in a home filled with all kinds of animals, from dogs to tortoises. These days, I’m the proud owner of a greyhound named Rodney, who hasn’t quite figured out how big he really is. I’m here to help with all your pet care needs. If you tend to feel a bit anxious about leaving your animals, I’m more than happy to send regular updates and photos for peace of mind, just let me know what you’d like. I genuinely don’t mind at all.

Lewis got on great with Mateo and showed him a great time with his greyhound Rodney. Him and Mateo seemed best mates by the end of the day and both their snoots happily stuck out the door when I picked him up. Got loads of updates during the day, including a couple of Mateo sprawled on his back on the couch. Happy to have another great minder in the area!
