New to Florida & Ready to Help!
I recently moved to Florida from Kansas with my furry faced best friend, Milo, and we're loving it! However, since moving down here, I do have an abundance of downtime which is what led me to joining Rover. I'm a dog dad and lover of all animals so I'm looking to help pet parents out whenever and however I can. I'm available 7 days a week for drop-in visits and short walks anytime between 11am and 7pm with a 24 hour notice, although that is flexible. If something urgently comes up, please feel free to reach out to check my availability. I live near Dunlawton and Clyde Morris in Port Orange and I'd like to stay within 10 miles but that is also negotiable. Again, if you have any questions or special requests, please reach out. It never hurts to ask.

Schedule
Since I don’t work, I have an abundance of free time. Also, since I’m new to Florida, I spend a lot of time out and about, learning my way around and exploring. I’m also single, I don’t have kids, so besides my own pup, I don’t have any other commitments or obligations.

Trust and safety with my own pet is paramount and non-negotiable and the same goes for pets that I care for. I’m an activist and advocate for anyone and anything vulnerable whether it’s people, animals, or nature/the planet.
Pets
A typical day
Since I only do check-ins, I usually spend a couple minutes loving on them and gaining their trust before I take them outside to potty, walk around, or handle any specific instructions left for me. After that, I like to make sure that everything inside is fine as well. I make sure nothing needs picked up or that they haven’t gotten into anything they shouldn’t have so that they’ll be safe and secure until their humans come home. I also like to love on them before I leave so if I see them again, they’ll either remember me or know that I can be trusted.

- Unless there’s anything that I need to know, I usually don’t request any additional information. As long as I’ve been left specific entry and care instructions, unless there’s any behaviors or warnings or special needs, it’s pretty easy and straightforward for everyone.
