Let me know if your dog is reactive ahead of time. I don’t mind taking the necessary precautions but it’s important that I know. If your dog is shy around new people that isn’t an issue at all, but I recommend we meet once or twice before you put them in my care to see how they react toward me 😋!
A typical day
I love taking long walks with my dog around the woods and love playing fetch with dogs too. Depending on the dog I could help with training too if needed! I also don’t mind just relaxing in a park if the dog is somewhat older and can’t walk for long.

Pet care experience
I've been around animals my whole life; only as a small child I had the privilege to have a labrador and a small cat, and as soon as I was old enough (around 8) I started helping out at the children's zoo in Basel (ponies, goats, cows, etc.). I currently have my own dog and a horse, and even work part-time in a veterinary clinic as I hope to one day become a vet :)! I have always volunteered to help other people with their pets: I have taken care of my friends' cats, rodents, chicken, fish, and dogs, therefore I would love to offer my knowledge and love to more pets out there! I speak 5 languages, namely English, Italian, Croatian, German and a little bit of French, so communication in other languages, whatever you're more comfortable with, is ok with me.

L. ist sehr zuverlässig und hat eine große Liebe zu Tieren, besonders zu Hunden. Sie hat langjährige Erfahrung im Umgang mit Tieren und arbeitet neben der Schule in einer Tierklinik in Basel-Landschaft. Man merkt sofort, dass sie mit Herz und Verantwortung dabei ist – absolut empfehlenswert als Tiersitterin!
Letizia è una persona estremamente affidabile, con una grande passione per gli animali, in particolare per i cani. Sta per affrontare l’esame di maturità e fin da piccola sogna di diventare veterinaria. Attualmente lavora part-time presso una clinica veterinaria a Basilea Campagna (Basel-Land), dove sta già maturando esperienza pratica nel settore. Ha una lunga esperienza con i cani e altri animali domestici, grazie a una vita trascorsa a stretto contatto con loro fin dalla più tenera età. La sua dedizione, responsabilità e amore autentico per gli animali la rendono una persona ideale per accudire agli animali.
