Most recently, I was living overseas in the country of Georgia where there are many street dogs in need of care and homes. For the past two years I have worked with an organization in country to both raise funds, care for dogs (including dogs with behavioral or health issues), and have assisted in vaccinating, caring for wounded dogs, and finding new homes for those street dogs. I am back in the U.S. without my furever dog for now (she is still safe and happy with my husband overseas, we limit her time crossing the pond due to her age) and would love the opportunity to help you with your pets! I mostly work from home, but occasionally go into the office for a couple of hours at a time for in-person meetings. Since I was a young kid I have always loved caring for not only my own pets, but playing with and caring for other people's. In high school, I volunteered in a vet's office as a vet tech assistant. During college, my now husband and I got a rescue dog together and she has been able to travel the world with us. After college, I still had a passion for working with animals and continued to volunteer in vet offices and for volunteer organizations. I love all animals, not just dogs, so if there are other wild ones around, that is totally okay with me.

I am happy to stay consistent with your house rules and your house schedule. Any and all care information, including meds, special food needs, where the fur-baby likes to sleep, etc. will be followed to a tee.

Just a truly incredible person to watch Ash. He immediately attached to her and I'm pretty sure he already misses seeing her. Leslie went above and beyond numerous times over the nearly 10 day span watching Ash, and I never once worried about him. I absolutely plan on using her as a cat sitter for as long as I'm in the area!

We went to Mexico for 7 days and were able to fully relax knowing that our only dog/child Teddy was in such great hands with Lessie. It was our first time being away from him that long - Lessie was communicative and shared great pics or videos every day. When we returned after a long day of travel she had already washed the bedding and changed the sheets so we didn't have to worry about it. I thought that was such a thoughtful gesture. Teddy clearly loved her being there with him. I will definitely hire Lessie again!
Lessie was great and provided great communication and pictures. Our pups were happy and well-walked. I highly recommend Lessie to anyone looking for a great dog Walker.
Lessie did a great job staying with and caring for our dog while we were out of town. She was communicative and sent pictures several times a day and we came back to a very happy pup!
Lessie was amazing! My dog is a very routine dog and Lessie followed her routine perfectly. She sent me updates and checked in multiple times a day, especially on things I was worried about such as my dog doesn't eat well nornally when I am not around but she did with Lessie at home with her. I knew my dog was safe and well cared for the entire time. Lessie was also was very respectful, kind, and trustworthy. She did a phenomenal job!

Schedule
I work from home a majority of the time. Occasionally I will go into the office for in-person meetings. For walks and playtime, I rarely have back-to-back calls for over 2 hours, so I am flexible with my schedule. For overnight stays, this includes a morning and evening walk. If additional walks or extended time is required I may ask charge my daily walk fee.
