During holidays, I’ll be home round the clock introverting and enjoying the canine company! They’ll be playing, napping, getting snuggles and treats. During workdays, they follow those same routines and I check in via security cameras.

Junie and I live in a non-smoking, single-family home with a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. I’m home most of the time when not at work, so with Junie by my side, your dog will get plenty of love and attention. Crate-friendly or free-roaming—whatever your pup prefers is welcome!

Information Leslie S. would like to know about your pet
We welcome dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages—Junie loves to play with everyone! Energetic pups who love to play with other dogs thrive here. During the meet-and-greet, I’ll ask about energy level, play style, sleep/furniture preferences, triggers, and dietary needs to make sure your dog is comfortable and happy. I have special experience with brachycephalic breeds (Frenchies, Bostons) and understand their unique care needs. Puppies under 6 months or needing frequent potty breaks do best on weekends and holidays; crate-trained pups over 6 months can stay anytime. I keep pet parents updated all day with texts, photos, and videos—lots if you want, minimal if you prefer. Your dog’s comfort and your peace of mind are my top priorities.
A typical day
Your dog will be part of the family, enjoying playtime and exercise with Junie Bee (zoomies, tug, and all the fun!) and downtime cuddling wherever they desire. Approved treats, chew toys, and fresh water are available all day, and summer brings backyard sprinklers, doggie pool fun, or frozen Kongs indoors. We have waaay more dog beds in the house than human ones, so they can always find that Goldilocks spot for their comfort.

Teacher❤️Home for well-loved dogs
Pet care experience
Rover sitter since 2017, offering calm, loving, home-based care. I’m a happy introvert and longtime educator with a steady, nurturing presence that dogs settle into quickly. My home is a safe, comfortable space where dogs are treated like family. Experienced, Individualized Care As a happy introvert, dedicated educator, and Rover sitter since 2017, I offer attentive, loving care in a calm, home-based setting. With years of hands-on experience and a natural instinct for reading dogs, I focus on creating a steady, reassuring rhythm to the day—one where dogs feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely at home. In my 20th year as an educator (now training and coaching teachers), I bring patience, consistency, and a watchful, nurturing presence to everything I do. Dogs in my care are treated like family: well-supervised, deeply loved, and always respected as unique souls. The Home & Resident Pup I share my home with one Boston Terrier (Junie) who brings a lot of joy (and energy) to our days. At 8 years old, she’s still very playful, social, and enthusiastic about making dog friends. She loves active play and companionship, followed by plenty of well-earned naps. Because of her confident, playful nature, our home is often a great fit for dogs who enjoy lots of interaction with other dogs. I have a day job with lots of vacation breaks that follow the cadence of school breaks (often aligned with Rover-designated holidays). When school is not in session, you can bet I’ll be home with Junie and our doggie guests for all the play, snuggles, and treats they can handle! If school is in session, I will be out of the house on some weekdays. During those times, Junie and our doggie guest will follow their normal routine of play and rest together, and I will check in regularly via security cameras. I also work from home at least one day a week (often more). When I must leave for work, I am often home earlier than a standard workday—an added bonus which happens frequently. Services, Hours + New Clients I’m an early riser and can accommodate early morning drop-offs for weekend daycare and boarding. For everyone’s safety and comfort, I don’t accept same-day bookings for new clients who haven’t stayed with me before. Meet-and-greets are important to me so we can start to get to know your dog before the stay begins. Individualized, Low-Stress Care I typically accept one booking at a time, allowing for focused attention, affection, and supervision. My goal is a peaceful, predictable environment where dogs can relax, play, and settle in comfortably. Clear communication ahead of time helps me tailor care to your dog’s personality and needs. What to Expect A warm home, a playful companion, and care that’s thoughtful, steady, and personal. I value trust, communication, and creating an environment where dogs feel safe and truly cared for. If this sounds like a good match, I’d love to connect and learn more about your dog. Let’s meet and greet and get this party started! 🐾
Reviews
Leslie did a fantastic job taking care of Missy while we were on a trip. She sent many pictures and videos and Missy always looked so happy. She spoiled her for sure! We would highly recommend her! Missy can’t wait to go back and stay with Leslie and her dog Junie B.!

Koko had a great time with Junie and Leslie! We know she was well cared for and feels at home ❤ with them. Leslie kept us informed with texts, pictures and video.

Leslie took great care of my pup while we were out of town. I received daily photos and updates which helped relieve my anxieties about leaving him. Leslie was an amazing host, always responsive, and super accommodating and sweet with our boy. I highly recommend her and will definitely return in the future! :)

As always, Leslie is amazing! This is our 4th year booking w her. She’s a constant pleasure and so communicative. My husband and I have never felt so happy and comfortable with someone watching over our fur baby. 10/10 would recommend ❤️❤️❤️
