I love dogs more than people!
I volunteer at the humane society walking dogs every Saturday morning and have for years. I've handled many dogs of varying ages and needs. I currently have two of my own. I'm a long-time dog owner and my world revolves around them. I work from home on Thursdays and Fridays.

I have a fully enclosed fenced yard, 6ft tall. I control and supervise outdoor yard time. I keep the screen doors locked. I walk my dogs with a running leash that locks, and they are never off-leash. While I'm not formally "certified" in pet CPR or first-aid, I have read books on the subject to be prepared for emergencies involving my dogs. I'm also familiar with the after-hours emergency veterinary services in Lincoln.

I have never left my girls with anyone they didn't know before. We've always had family or a neighbor step in because my girls are so used to being home, I worried they wouldn't be happy somewhere else, and they're a little picky on some things so I needed someone who understands them. Choosing Leslie for my girls to stay with was by far the better decision over anyone else we ever have. She instantly understood their fickle ways, picked up on their personalities and catered to them. The pictures and video updates I received through their stay effortlessly showed how happy and comfortable they were. They got to go for walks, rides, to a park, and had 2 new friends to play with, too. My own husband wouldn't hand feed our pup, Lexi when she's too stubborn to eat, but I do. Leslie understood that, and she did it, too. I can't recommend her enough in a million different ways. Finding her was a blessing!
Leslie cares more about dogs (and other animals) more than anyone else I know. She volunteers at the local animal shelter every week. She has two happy, healthy rescue dogs of her own and she dog sits for family and friends all the time. She takes the dogs for walks and to the dog parks as often as possible. She has watched my dog more than once and keeps me updated with photos and videos. Her number one goal is to keep dogs safe, happy, and healthy.

Schedule
I walk my own dogs at least once daily. I try to include them in weekend activities. One of my dogs requires daily medication. I leave them alone for minimal time each day. They go to doggie daycare on days I work in the office. I also enjoy taking my dogs to the dog park for a change of scenery.
