For the past three years, I’ve volunteered at my local Humane Society, focusing on enrichment for kittens, cats, and puppies. That means I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and personalities — from shy rescues to bouncy puppies. Because I’m retired, I have the time and flexibility to give your pets the attention they deserve. Whether it’s a drop-in visit for playtime, feeding, litter duty, or a walk and cuddle session, I’ll make sure your furry family members feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I have a secure, fenced yard where dogs can safely play and stretch their legs. My two friendly dogs, Belle and Cooper, love having canine company and are great at making new friends. Visiting dogs will enjoy a safe, social, and comfortable environment with plenty of supervised playtime and love.”

I can’t say enough good things about Leslie Nelson it is clear she genuinely love animals and knows how to care for them. My dog Hoagie can be a little shy around new people, but Leslie was so patient and gentle — they quickly became fast friends. Whether it was daily walks, playtime, or just keeping Hoagie company while I was away, Lesliewas always reliable, punctual, and professional. I also really appreciated the photo updates and little notes — it gave me peace of mind knowing my pup was happy and in good hands. Leslie is the most wonderful animal care giver! She has walked and taken care of our 2 dogs Coco and Toby , and our pups just love her. She is very reliable and we fully trust her with our dogs. They get so excited to see her and we know they are in great hands with Leslie. Highly recommend!

Leslie has watched my 25 pound French bulldog Ragnar multiple times. Ragnar has a disability, his tongue always hangs out and he drools A LOT. She is so caring and compassionate to our little boy, not caring at all about his messy nature. Leslie also sends us a ton of PUPdates (Ragnar pictures) too, which we love to get when we’re out of town. It feels amazing being able to leave our furry family member in such good hands, knowing he’s being loved and taken care of. I could not have asked for a better dog sitting!

Schedule
I’m currently available Monday through Thursday during the daytime. That means I can help with walks, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship while you’re at work or away for the day.
