I’m completely free from Fridays through Sundays, which means I can dedicate full days to your pet’s care and enrichment. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or simply providing comfort and companionship, I make sure each pet feels loved and gets the chance to safely explore the world around them. If you’re ever planning a getaway or vacation, your pet is welcome to spend the night and board at my apartment for the whole weekend—I’ll be there to give them plenty of love, attention, and care.

Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. In my home, I provide a calm and comfortable environment with cozy spaces for rest and lots of playtime to keep pets engaged. I live next to a park, so pets enjoy safe daily walks where they can explore, stretch their legs, and get their energy out. I always keep fresh water available, double-check that doors and windows are secure, and ensure that any items that could be harmful to pets are put safely away. If a pet is staying overnight, I make sure their sleeping area is clean and comfortable, and I stick to their normal feeding and potty routine so they feel right at home. I also love sending photos of the pet to the owner to show how they're doing!

Before I care for your pet, it’s really helpful for me to know a few things so I can make them as comfortable and happy as possible. I’d love to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, any medications, and how they are with new people or other animals. It’s also great to know their favorite toys, any quirks or sensitivities, and what helps them feel safe or calm.
A typical day
For me, it depends on each pet’s personality and what they enjoy! With dogs, I love going on walks, exploring nearby parks (Cal Anderson or Volunteer Park), playing fetch, and giving them plenty of attention and positive interaction. For cats, I like keeping things comfortable and engaging — whether that’s playtime with their favorite toys, gentle brushing, or just hanging out together so they feel safe and not lonely.

I’ve cared for pets since childhood and treat every animal like my own. I’m quick to respond, experienced with both puppies and senior dogs, and comfortable giving medications with precision and care. Living by a park means plenty of walks and playtime, so your pet will always feel loved, safe, and happily tired out!

Leslie was great taking care of our 5-month-old puppy Piper for a three-day weekend! Leslie was totally unfazed by our puppy's big energy, and gave her lots of attention. We also appreciated she was flexible about drop-off/pick-up time. Piper came back to us happy and tired from all the fun she had. We'd definitely book with Leslie again in the future!

Leslie was amazing! We needed someone to puppy sit for us while in town for a couple evenings- we booked wayyyy last second- and Leslie said “no problem! I got you!” She’s has the exact energy you would want with your pet. Leslie watched our sweet 5 month old puppy like a pro!
VERY last minute request but was very flexible with my crazy schedule. i will definitely be requesting for my dog to stay with her next time im in town and needing a dog sitter. my baby boy loved spending the day with her and came back tired as ever.
