Lifelong Dog parent wants to share
Sits outside of Red Deer 3+ nights only. Walks and check-ins only available in Red Deer. I’ve had dogs all my adult life. I currently share my home with a young chihuahua cross who I adopted from Fostering Hope Animal Rescue Foundation in Red Deer, and an adult cat, also adopted from a local Rescue. Over the years I’ve welcomed friends’ and family members’ dogs for holidays. Sometimes my pack was much bigger than others! 🤩 Now, it’s just me and Manny and my friendly cat. I’d love to open my peaceful home to your pet, short- or long term.

Schedule
I work from home currently. I am somewhat of a homebody, and if I have to leave a pet at home, it will never be for more than 4 hours, and is usually much less.

Safety, trust & environment
I own my home. I have a fully fenced yard, and live 3 doors away from a big park. I love to walk, run, and if with a suitable dog, bicycle. If desired, there are two off-leash dog parks nearby.
Pets
A typical day
My city has miles of parkland walking trails! Also for those dogs who like it, off-leash parks. We can go to the river (on or off leash), walk through town, play with other dogs, or not, or chill at home in the back yard, weather permitting. Whatever your dog needs, I’m game!
