Hi there, I'm Leslie! As a lifelong pet owner and having rescued multiple dogs from abusive situations, I have gathered lots of experience in making all kinds of dogs feel comfortable and safe with me. I have the patience, dedication, and love necessary to earn your pup’s trust. I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds and temperaments, and feel confident that with enough information from the owner, I can care for any animal. I have had dogs for over 20 years, and have cared for everything from small to large, purebreds to rescues. My rescues have either been from a local (kill) animal shelter or an abusive situation. I understand that all animals are individuals and each has their own unique personality. I am a great pet sitter because I believe each fur baby needs to have love, compassion and care. I have had animals that have had special needs and would not shy away from working with yours. I have a background as a emergency dispatcher (911), which enables me to remain calm and make sound decisions in the face of emergencies. I believe in tailoring each experience to each dog/owner.
