Hi! I've been a pet owner and pet sitter forever. I initially found Rover as an owner, so I understand the stress around having a stranger care for your pup. I found my separation anxiety was reduced when I knew the person caring for my dog was doing the things I knew my dog liked and made him comfortable; so I'm happy to imitate whatever schedules, habits, routines, etc. you have with your pup. The more information you can provide, the better!

This was my first time using Leslie and she was beyond fantastic! She really took the time to understand each of my dogs needs and took great care of them both. She sent lots of photos and updates and I could tell they both felt comfortable and right at home. Knowing they were well taken care of while I was gone was a huge relief and Poptart and Wally would be so excited to go back!
Leslie was great with Hermes. She looked after him so well, sent us lots of photos. He looks very happy. We are so glad that is there to look after him.

Schedule
I work from home full-time so I will be present almost 24/7 with a flexible schedule for walks, cuddles, and play time. I'll be upfront if I have any plans during your pup's stay that would require me to be out of the house for more than a few hours.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is on the smaller side, with no yard, so all potty breaks are walks in the neighborhood. My house is two stories, with the kitchen/living upstairs and the bedroom down so there is a lot of going up and down stairs during the day, especially for potty breaks. I put down treads when I have pups staying with me so the stairs are safer and have a baby gate to block the stairs, if needed.
A typical day
A typical day involves making sure your pup is getting fed and walked on their usual schedule and lots of playtime, snuggles, scritches, and kisses. I have lots of windows in my place and since we spend most of the day upstairs there are some great views up and down the street to keep an eye on all the other dogs.
