Hi! We are Charlie and Leslie and it should be no surprise to hear that we love dogs! Combined, the two of us have over 25 years of professional experience working with dogs. From boarding to medical to rehabilitation to behavior/training to rescue and shelter work, we have covered much of the spectrum. (Leslie has been a NYS Licensed Veterinary Technician for 17 years.) We are happy to extend that knowledge and experience to benefit dogs through our in-home boarding services. We offer a quiet, structured experience with a more comfortable, home-like feel than traditional boarding kennels. We believe that regular exercise, enrichment, and training makes happy healthy dogs. We have 14 acres of woods and field with several trails for leash walks and exploration. We can also provide our boarders with safe, stimulating options during downtime with numerous food/toy options.

Being the first time boarding my dog I was very nervous and wanted to make sure I was leaving him with someone trustworthy. Leslie and Charlie had great reviews but were about 45 minutes away. I would now easily drive hours to get to them after how great our experience was. They were absolutely incredible. It was very clear they have an abundance of knowledge and a true passion for caring for dogs. They took the time to slowly introduce Cheddar to their home and the other dogs when we first arrived. A lot of outdoor play and photos of very happy dogs were provided throughout the day. I cannot recommend them enough!
Leslie's property for the dogs is huge and beautiful, and she is experienced with dog behavior and interactions. I'm so glad I had my dog begin staying with her, and we will definitely be back. My pup came home happy and tired out, just like I'd hoped. Highly reccommend Leslie and Charles!

Leslie and Charles took thee best care of our dog Moose. He loved running around in their fenced yard and playing with the other dogs. They sent us pictures of his happy face and really took any worry away right from the start. Highly recommend them and would ask them again to keep our dog! Thank you!!
Very happy with Abby's experience at Charles & Leslie's home. Charlie has a very calming way about him and we felt very comfortable leaving Abby with him. Abby was taken for walks and was able to spend some time with other dogs and work on her socialization skills. Charlie sent us several pics of Abby walking with Charlie's dog, Yukon. Excellent experience.
