Fluent in Meow and Bow Wow
I have been a responsible pet owner and animal lover for 40 years. Have cared for my own pups and kitties of all ages, as well as rabbits, a guinea pig, fish, turtles and a couple of birds. Have bottle-fed babies, and cared for older animals. Would love to walk, feed, bathe, play with and love your pet while you are away. I am a very active retired elementary school librarian. I help care for my granddaughters several hours a week but otherwise have plenty of time to devote to my charges via Rover. We have the typical El Paso rock walled yard at our home. With grates on the wrought iron gates to keep pets in and other animals out. One side yard is sectioned off separately from the rest of the yard. My daughters were both veterinary technicians and I worked for a short time at the vet clinic with them just to earn a little extra money.

Because we have 2 kitties of our own, I have not opened my home at this time to boarding other animals. I have a flexible schedule and can visit your home and care for your pets about any time of the day.

I had an excellent experience with Leslie. This was my first time leaving Saber with a sitter, and I was understandably nervous since he’s still adjusting to indoor life. From the very beginning, they were attentive, communicative, and genuinely kind. They followed Saber's routine carefully, made sure he was fed, played with, and comfortable, and even went above and beyond by bringing in my mail. I could tell they truly care about animals and took the time to help Saber feel safe while I was away. The updates and photos gave me peace of mind, and I felt confident knowing he was in good hands. I would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, thoughtful pet care.
Absolutely love Leslie! I have booked her 4 times, I think, and my kitties just love her! She takes lots of pics and gives lots of pets, and always tries to find my one scaredy cat. Got a pic of her under a bed this trip. Haha. I hope Leslie never retires from Rover!
Leslie is fantastic and truly went above and beyond. She took excellent care of my fur baby when I had to go on a work trip on short notice. I will always book with her whenever I need a pet sitter!!

Schedule
I have 2 kitties of my own who get my attention every morning as soon as I jump out of bed. In addition, we care for several community kitties who come by daily for food, water and snuggles.
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbsLeslie can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- I like knowing the temperament of the dog. How it behaves with strangers or unfamiliar dogs we might encounter on walks or during play at the park. It is important to know if my charges have allergies or particularly like or dislike a certain type of treat or food.
