Pet care is a consistent part of my weekly routine rather than an occasional commitment. I structure my schedule to accommodate regular walks and check-ins, and I treat each booking with the same reliability I'd want for my own pet. With 8+ years of professional experience on Wag and Rover, caring for dogs isn't something I fit in around my life, it's something I've built my schedule around.

Safety, trust & environment
While I am not currently offering in-home services, I have extensive experience with both home environments from previous pet care work. In a client's home I follow all household rules, maintain the pet's existing routine, and leave the space exactly as I found it. I treat every client's home with the same respect and care I would want shown in my own.

Information Leslie C. would like to know about your pet
Before any booking I want to know about your dog's temperament, any behavioral tendencies around other dogs or strangers, medical conditions or medications, dietary restrictions, and emergency contact information including your vet. If your dog has any triggers, fears, or quirks I want to know upfront so I can provide the safest and most comfortable experience possible. The more I know about your dog before we meet, the better I can care for them.
A typical day
I tailor activities to each dog's personality, energy level, and physical needs. For high-energy dogs that means brisk walks, outdoor exploration, and active play. For calmer or older dogs I focus on gentle walks, quiet companionship, and mental stimulation through light interaction and toys. I always pay attention to how a dog is responding and adjust accordingly, the goal is for every pet to feel safe, engaged, and genuinely cared for, not just supervised.

Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Leslie and I am happy to help take care of your dog. I had several pit-bulls growing up but cannot afford to keep a pet now. So, I help my clients and friends take care of their pets so I can get my fix of animal love. I have walked and pet sat for dogs, from toy poodles to adult sized huskies and I am looking to take care of pets in between jobs. My availability is currently somewhat flexible as I just started as a part time Personal Trainer. My experience has ranged from on demand and recurring walks to dog sitting in my clients home, or boarding in my own. Depending on your needs we can work together to make sure you and your dog receive excellent service.
Reviews

Clark is a wonderful dog sister. Very calm, and knows how to take care of some tougher breeds like huskies. We will definitely be repeat clients!
We really appreciate the care Leslie gave our 17 year old dog. She is very shy but warmed to Leslie immediately. Will contact Leslie again for future appointments.

Leslie was amazing spending 3 days with my dog in my home, keeping him company and giving medication. He’s clearly passionate about animals and provided regular updates and pictures, and my dog had a great time with him. I would absolutely recommend Leslie for any pet-sitting needs.

Leslie is a fantastic and very attentive sitter! My dog can be very high maintenance but Leslie took the time to learn about her habits and make sure everyone was comfortable. It made me feel good knowing she was safe and cared for while I was away. Great service and I would definitely have Leslie watch her again!
