Whether your dog enjoys walks, outdoor play, companionship, enrichment activities, or simply relaxing nearby, I tailor their care to what makes them happiest. My approach is attentive, patient, and safety focused. I carefully monitor behavior, comfort, appetite, energy levels, and overall wellbeing to ensure your dog feels secure and supported while you are away. I understand how important communication is when leaving your pet in someone else’s care. You can expect regular updates, photos, and check ins so you always know how your dog is doing and can enjoy your time away with confidence. To make each stay as comfortable as possible, I provide a variety of amenities, including comfortable dog beds in multiple sizes, kennels if needed, raised food and water bowls, enrichment toys, durable chews, mobility support for senior dogs, and a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time. You are always welcome to bring favorite blankets, toys, or comfort items from home to help your dog feel even more settled. Leslie did an amazing job caring for Ruby. She provided thorough updates and pictures a couple times a day while we were away. Leslie is so kind and welcoming, and I felt Ruby was in wonderful and safe hands while she was with Leslie. Ruby got a couple runs and walks in and lots of fetch. I would definitely recommend Leslie and will be requesting her services again!
If only we could leave seven stars. We have worked with several dog sitters, but none as thoughtful, thorough, and sincerely committed to ensuring the very best for our dogs, and peace of mind for us. Leslie sets the bar! Our whole family looked forward to reading her updates, and seeing the unique ways she found to connect with our two (often energetic) dogs. We could quickly tell she had invested time and energy into getting to know/understand their unique personalities. Leslie is guaranteed the best sitter within the DMV area. She has transformed her home into a dog’s luxury resort, complete with total attentiveness, ultimate amenities, and activities that a dog could only dream of. In addition to all of that, her communications are fantastic and Cash is always so excited to arrive at Ms. Leslie’s and never ready to leave. I’ve never had such peace of mind leaving Cash if/when I have to be out of town.
Leslie is an all-around phenomenal dog sitter. She quickly learns our dogs personalities and provides the attention they need. During our dogs' 11 day, 10 night stay with Leslie, she provided personalized and humorous updates on our pups at least twice a day. Our dogs connected to "Aunt Leslie" very quickly! Our smaller dog cuddled with Leslie and requested belly rubs, while our Border Collie mix kept Leslie company as she moved throughout her day. Knowing they were WELL cared for enabled us to enjoy a lovely vacation without worry.
We couldn’t be happier with the care Leslie provided for our dog, Siku, over the 9 days we were away. From the very beginning, Leslie was communicative, reliable, and clearly experienced with dogs. She made us feel completely at ease leaving Siku in her care. Throughout our trip, Leslie kept us updated with messages and photos, which meant so much to us. It was clear that Siku was not only well cared for, but also happy and comfortable. When we returned, Siku was relaxed, healthy, and clearly had been given lots of attention and love. Leslie truly went above and beyond, and we are so grateful to have found someone we trust. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and attentive pet sitter—and we will definitely be booking with her again!
Our dogs LOVE spending time with Leslie. They settled right in during their first overnight stay. They were very well cared for and they enjoyed their walks. We have definitely found the PERFECT sitter.

Because I maintain a flexible schedule, I am able to provide dependable, attentive care and closely follow your dog’s routine without feeling rushed or overextended. I am home often throughout the day, allowing for regular potty breaks, companionship, supervision, exercise, and individualized attention. I intentionally limit my care to one client family at a time so your dog receives a calm, consistent experience with plenty of personal attention. As a former pet owner of many years, I understand how important it is to feel completely confident when leaving your dog in someone else’s care. I provide care in a calm, clean, pet free and child free home designed to minimize stress and create a peaceful environment where dogs can fully relax. This setting is especially beneficial for dogs who prefer quieter surroundings, including seniors, anxious pets, or dogs who do best without the unpredictability of multiple animals. Because I host only one client at a time, your dog receives close supervision, individualized care, and a consistent routine throughout their stay. I carefully follow your pet’s schedule for meals, medications, potty breaks, walks, exercise, rest, and comfort preferences to help maintain familiarity and reduce anxiety. Outdoor time always takes place in my fully fenced yard or on supervised walks. I am attentive to weather conditions, temperature, energy levels, and each dog’s physical limitations to ensure activities remain safe, enjoyable, and appropriate for their needs. My goal is to create an environment where your dog feels safe, secure, loved, and truly cared for while giving you complete confidence and peace of mind. **Communication & Updates** I understand how important it is to feel connected and reassured while your dog is in someone else’s care. Clear, consistent communication is something I prioritize. You can expect two thoughtful updates each day during your dog’s stay, complete with photos and often videos as well. **Morning Update (typically 6:00 to 8:00 AM):** A recap of the prior evening, how your dog settled in, and the plan for the day ahead. **Evening Update (typically 4:00 to 6:00 PM):** A summary of the day’s activities, behavior, mood, appetite, exercise, and overall wellbeing. My updates are detailed because I know peace of mind matters. My goal is for you to truly relax and enjoy your time away, knowing your dog is safe, happy, and receiving attentive, loving care.

Mornings typically begin with a potty break, outdoor time, and a relaxed walk when appropriate, followed by breakfast and downtime to settle in. Throughout the day, dogs enjoy supervised time in my fully fenced yard, enrichment activities, companionship, rest, and individualized attention. For active dogs, this may include walks, playtime, fetch, or mentally engaging activities. For seniors or more relaxed companions, the focus may be gentle movement, comfort, quiet companionship, and plenty of cozy downtime. I am mindful of weather conditions, temperature, and each dog’s comfort and physical needs, especially during warmer months, to ensure outdoor activities remain safe and enjoyable. Whether your dog enjoys activity or simply wants a calm, comforting environment, my goal is for them to feel safe, relaxed, happy, and cared for throughout their stay.
