I have experience caring for any kind of dogs and cats. I foster shelter dogs, raised and trained my Labrador Ace from a puppy and owned a senior rescue dog. I know how to care for puppies, teenager and elderly dogs, as well as kittens and cats. I'm particularly good with shy cats and getting them out of their shell, but enjoy an active, playful cat like mine just as much. Our home has a front and back yard, both fenced and a living area plus an attached sunroom. I can separate pets if needed. I have a cat room, only cats can get in, dogs have to stay outside. My cat usually roams the whole house. Can separate if needed. I also have the ability to take active dogs on walks or runs as I am an active person and runner.

Leslie watched my cat for 3 nights. He is very shy and scared and she made sure he was comfortable in his own little area without having to worry about the other pets in the house. Although they slowly gained his trust and he cuddled with her adorable, sweet cat. I felt my cat was safe and in great hands from the moment I left him. She provided pictures and updates which was wonderful to receive. Thank you so much Leslie and to your family for being so caring and loving. And for the patience of trying to win over our little shy guy so he could get pets and cuddles. I would recommend her 10/10 to care for your pets.
Leslie was absolutely amazing! From the moment we met, I knew my dog was in caring and capable hands. She kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. My dog came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Leslie went above and beyond by making sure all of my dog's needs were met, giving plenty of love, attention, exercise, and affection. It's obvious that she genuinely loves animals and treats them like family. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter, and I will absolutely book with Leslie again. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, reliable, compassionate, and attentive to care for your pet, I highly recommend Leslie. She's truly one of the best!

Schedule
I am currently staying at home, so I have a very flexible schedule. I am available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, making it easy to accommodate any pets needs .

Safety, trust & environment
When a new pet arrives at my house, they will always get some time away from any other pets already here to get used to everything and decompress. After that they can meet under supervision and if everything goes well, they'll be together in the whole house. If they don't get along I accommodate and fence out different areas, inside and outside. I have a front and back yard, which can also be separated in two different areas. I also have a large sunroom attached to our living area. One of the bedrooms is a no dog zone for cats.

A typical day
I think it is so important to match a pets personality and caring for them on a case by case basis. I love being playful and spending tons of time with them, I have plenty of toys and am a very active person. However, if a pet needs its space or more time to acclimate, that's totally fine, we can just sit together and coexist.
