I work from home and I’m around most of the time, so your dog gets real attention throughout the day — not just a quick check-in between other commitments. I also have two daughters, 17 and 20, who grew up with dogs, helped with our fosters, and are just as enthusiastic about caring for your pup as I am. Pet care is built into our daily routine, not squeezed around it!

My Studio City home is calm and quiet with a fenced yard and easy access to outdoor space. Having fostering experience with medical and recovery dogs, I’m comfortable managing special routines, medication schedules, and proper dog introductions — and I’ll keep you informed every step of the way. All dogs must be current on vaccinations. I keep groups small and intentional — up to 2 dogs at a time, either one family of two or two separate dogs, based on age, size, and temperament fit. This lets me give each dog real one-on-one attention.

Please share any medical needs, medications, dietary restrictions, behavioral quirks, or anxiety triggers ahead of time — the more I know the better I can care for your dog. A meet & greet is required before all stays so we can go over everything in person or via video. All dogs must be current on vaccinations.
A typical day
Your pup will start the day with a morning walk through our Studio City neighborhood. Back home they’ll hang out with me, enjoy enrichment toys, and have free access to the fenced yard throughout the day. A second walk in the afternoon, plus plenty of cuddles and playtime in between. For more adventurous dogs we can hit Fryman Canyon or Griffith Park. Low key, attentive and fun.

Pet care experience
Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a house full of them — my mom showed Collies competitively and still rescues to this day. It’s just how I was raised. As an adult I’ve spent the last 10 years fostering — taking in puppies two or three at a time, and occasionally single dogs recovering from injuries or medical conditions requiring recovery care and medication management. That experience taught me how to read dogs, stay calm under pressure, and give every animal exactly what they need — not a one-size-fits-all approach. A stay at my place feels like a home away from home. Your dog will follow me around the house, get plenty of cuddles and indoor playtime, enrichment toys, and two walks a day through our Studio City neighborhood. We have a fenced yard for in-and-out access throughout the day, and for more adventurous pups I’m happy to hit Fryman Canyon or Griffith Park. My own dog is a six year old rescue who’s current on all vaccines. He’s selective with other dogs, which honestly makes me even more thoughtful about introductions — I know how to read body language, introduce dogs properly, and keep them separated when needed. I can also crate or accommodate whatever sleeping arrangement works best for your dog, keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes. Special experience with: ✔️ Puppies & young dogs ✔️ Anxious or reactive dogs ✔️ Medical needs & medication administration ✔️ Post-injury recovery care What every stay includes: 🐾. Fresh water always available 🐾 Healthy treats 🐾 Respect for your dog’s routine so they have something familiar to count on 🐾 Regular photo and video updates I require a meet & greet before all bookings — in person or via video — to make sure it’s the right fit for everyone. Your dog deserves that.
Reviews
Leslie is the most caring and communicative sitter EVER!! She took great care of our babies and we would rebook with her over and over!!! She went above and beyond and our puppies instantly felt comfortable with her

Our two small dogs just stayed with Lesli and they had a wonderful time! Lesli is caring and attentive to detail. She asked very insightful questions about our dogs care and preferences. She communicated with us easily and sent lots of updates and photos which we loved! Will absolutely book a stay with Lesli again.

I highly recommend Lesli! We had such a wonderful experience and would absolutely book with her again! From the very beginning, she was an excellent communicator—asking thoughtful, thorough questions to make sure she understood Bailey’s routine and preferences. While we were away, she sent frequent updates with photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear she genuinely cared and treated Bailey like one of her own. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and kindness made the entire experience stress-free. We came back to a happy, well-cared-for pet, and we couldn’t have asked for a better person. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and communicative!
Lesli has been involved in animal rescue and foster care for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I have seen her welcome countless dogs into her home, many of whom needed extra patience, medical attention, or simply a safe place to stay while waiting for adoption. No matter the dog's age, temperament, or situation, she always approaches them with kindness and dedication. One thing that makes Lesli special is that she truly enjoys spending time with animals. She doesn't just provide food and shelter—she makes sure each dog feels comfortable, secure, and loved. Whether it's taking walks, playing, helping a nervous dog adjust to a new environment, or caring for a senior pet with special needs, she puts her whole heart into it. I would trust Lesli with any dog, and I know that anyone who leaves their pet in her care can feel confident that their dog will receive exceptional attention and affection. She is dependable, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the well-being of animals.
